For the past one month I've been trying to learn how to prepare fried rice very well. It's nothing like the tryout fried rice I prepared earlier.
The try out fried rice turned out fine but I still felt in my heart that I needed to do more. I needed to include more ingredients to spice it up.
I set a goal to not allow June run out without learning how to cook fried rice. Preparing it is a great deal for me as any little mistake can render the food tasteless.
It wasn't an easy target for me cause it's not every Sunday or weekday we prepare it. Luckily, Monday this week came and I prepared a standard fried rice under close supervision.
I was so determined to do it that I set a goal, brought out my calendar and was counting down to the next time I'll prepare the food.

So I've been in hive for approximately two months now. I was introduced by a friend of mine who coached me on everything I needed to start.
I was a quick teaching because he had other engagements in real life. He just gave me a tip. Go into hive, make friends and you'll find your ground.
I didn't understand at first. I was shy, scared and most of all confused. It felt like a hard thing to do. I decided to give it a try and my little push landed me a redfish rallier @theterminal.
Earlier I set a goal to reach at least a thousand HP that is 1000 HP before the end of the year.
In two months I've gotten 262, most of which are delegations but still I've got them. I've made quite a few friends and engaged in over 30 contests of which just the Redfish rally is 7.
I know you've heard of the saying learning never ends. Well that's what I would say about my time as a rallier.
I've learnt a lot from @theterminal especially that one that has to do with me comfortable writing a minimum of 250 words without exhausting all I want to write.
In what I've learnt, I'm actually heading towards achieving my goal of reaching 1000 HP or more.
I produce original contents daily inclusive this, engages in conversations with community members at Discord and also in the comment section of their blogs.

Great progress! That's a lot when comparing it to others so please keep it up. The best way is to get out there and talk with lots of people which looks like you've been doing a great job at.
The Terminal group has been really great at helping keep people on here and engaged with each other and the team. I think that's awesome!
I see that you're using hive.blog on what looks like your phone. Might I suggest downloading the eSteem app? It is very easy to use and you get points for using it! It has a good interface and doing your normal daily activities earn you points which you can then use to boost or promote your posts. If you boost it, they upvote it with their curation account and it's an easy way to gain more Hive in a pretty easy process.
Wow I have the app but I don't really use it. Didn't know I could gain such advantage just by using it. Will do that now
I would definitely use it! I've been boosting my posts for a while now and it's great to get extra votes. I will say though that you should boost it but reasonably. If you spend 900 points and try to boost a post to 2.50$ they won't do it and refund the points. They manually look at each post or comment that is requested to boost so just boosting it isn't a guarantee you will get it upvoted. I've changed my habit now to just boost it a little bit. If you use 150 points it will boost it by 0.35$ roughly and a lot of times it goes through successfully.
I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean by boosting
Are you trying to say that I could use my points to upvote myself.
Yeah sorry, boosting is just the word they use in the eSteem app.
If you post an actual post using the eSteem app, in the top right there are 3 dots. If you click that you can get to the option "boost" and "promote" among some others. Boosting means that you pay the eSteem team with the points you've earned, to upvote a post that you wrote on their app. They then will have a curator look at it and decide if it is a good post to vote on. If they like the post you will get the upvote value you chose. If they do not like the post, they refund you the points.
The upvoting does not work for a post you have created on a different application such as using the website hive.blog so that is one thing to be aware of.
Oohhhhh. I understand. It's a good thing. At least they can refund you if they don't like it. Well I am happy to know all the privileges I can get using the app. Never knew uptill now.
Thanks dear🤗🤗🤗
ESTM Boosting refund to @cmplxty!

You're actually doing a great job @beckie96830... When I grow up, I will like to be like like you😁🤗. Keep it up, don't worry I'm coming, I'm right behind you.
In as much as you're right behind me, know that I'll still forge ahead. Needless to say I hope my story is a motivation to step up your game in hive blog
First let me say, love the name: starwriter.
Now whenever anyone says fried rice I always think of ... with the frying of peanuts and cayenne. My brother motivated me to try this Indian style. Done right, it's quite special (I'm just at OK).
Right, friends are easy to make on blockchain.
O 0
And why do I think your a runner (:)
_________
Thank you for liking my name. First time of getting such a compliment. I'm thrilled.
I don't understand what you mean by I'm a runner please.
Fried rice here is a different recipe. It's made out of rice and the likes of green peas, green pepper, green beans, carrots etc
Oh, just that you like to run for exercise or enjoy life. Your photos seem like you might be.
I prefer enjoy life. Take it as it may be. Don't want to suffer myself unnecessarily but I want to work hard. These are two different things right.
Indeed. From one who worked as a trainer:
Love meeting people who maintain this perspective.
Interesting. Now I know. Who did you train???
For fitness, rehab and sports.
Hello, my friend @beckie96830
Glad to see how enthusiastically you are participating in Hive.
I hope that you achieve the goals that you set for yourself and that you stay on this platform for a long time. I like what you do.
A big hug
Hi, my friend @librepensendora. I'm glad you like what I do.
Be certain I'm here to stay. Don't really have much doing now until school reopens
Interesting :)
Yes it is. You could join too. What do you think
You are coming along nicely @beckie96830 The most important thing is not to set your goal too high of trying to reach 1,000 HP in such a short timeframe. How about reaching 100 first. Then you can move up to the second level in the Redfish Rally.
Next, the goal is 500 in the Rally to get you to Minnowhood. Once you reach 500 HP, you will no longer be a Redfish. You will graduate to Minnow.
Then you try to reach 1,000 HP. An attainable goal, right. Do this by posting quality content as often as you can each week. Don't worry about the rewards. The more you post of quality content, the more you will earn.
Thanks for participating in this week's challenge.
Thank you @justclickindiva. I must not necessarily reach that especially in such a short time. It's just a motivation to keep me busy and targeting all my efforts now.
I know when school resumes I'll slack in posting due to school activities that's why I put it there.
I'm happy to have participated. Thank you for visiting. Glad you could stop by.
Very good. Congratulations for your goals.
Oh. Thank you @mariale07. I'm glad you could stop by. Do have a pleasant day.
That's right, learning never ends, every day we learn something new, we always have something new to give. Congratulations, I hope you reach your goal.
I will hopefully. It's not going to be easy but I'm getting there
