Hi friends,
I was lost in thought as I looked at the portraits I had drawn.

When we were kids, we used to keep our family photos in print in albums. In this way, I would look at my grandparents, or their aunt and aunt, and try to find my family tree with photographs. As a family tradition, we enlarged photos of some of these individuals and hung them on the wall. I remember back in the 90's when we kept the headshots of our loved ones in our wallets. Yes, we used to collect portraits of ourselves and our loved ones in print albums. Now digitally on our mobile phones. In this way, it is possible to paint portraits based on a photograph. Every line in the picture is colored by what you are. What you are is your life story. At some point in life, sooner or later one has to become conscious of himself.

My portraits do not cease to look at me and their audience. They act as a mirror. Through my paintings we are all connected, but also very different. We all need portraits.
