La primera ves que trabaje con una orquesta infantil fue cuando tenía la edad de 15 años, era un grupo pequeño de cuerdas, de edades comprendidas entre los 8 y 10 años. Nunca había tenía la oportunidad de poder pararme al frente de un niño de esa edad y poder enseñarle algo, que implica una gran responsabilidad ya que un niño a esa edad es una esponja y absorbe todo tipo de información que capta al primer momento. Yo no tenía nada de experiencia pero durante ese comienzo dentro del núcleo me fue llamando la atención la parte pedagógica. Y fue ahí donde el maestro en ese entonces que era el director del núcleo me da esa instrucción que atienda a ese grupo de niños. Fue ahí donde quise seguir haciéndolo.
The first time I worked with a children's orchestra was when I was 15 years old, it was a small group of strings, aged between 8 and 10 years. I had never had the opportunity to stand in front of a child of that age and being able to teach him something, which implies a great responsibility since a child at that age is a sponge and absorbs all kinds of information that he captures at the first moment. I had no experience at all, but during that beginning within the nucleus the pedagogical part began to attract my attention. And it was there that the teacher at that time, who was the director of the nucleus, gave me that instruction to attend to that group of children. That was where I wanted to keep doing it.
Tuve la oportunidad de seguir trabajando con la que se convirtió la orquesta infantil de Cagua y ser su director durante un año y medio, durante este tiempo trabaje con la orquesta infantil núcleo la Victoria, la orquesta juvenil de Villa de Cura, la orquesta Juvenil de La Victoria, la Orquesta Juvenil de El consejo. Después de ese tiempo decido irme a la capital con tan solo 17 años y emprender aun más en esta hermosa carrera.
I had the opportunity to continue working with the one that became the Cagua children's orchestra and to be its director for a year and a half, during this time I worked with the Victoria nucleus children's orchestra, the Villa de Cura youth orchestra, the youth orchestra of La Victoria, the Youth Orchestra of El Consejo. Fue en este momento que quede como violín 1 en la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil del Conservatorio de Música Simón Bolívar en la cual estuve un año y después de eso por cosas de Dios me mandan al Centro académico Regional Montalbán en la cual actualmente estoy a cargo de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil, y entre otras oportunidades llega el poder dirigir la Orquesta Pre-Infantil Metropolitana.

Tenemos la misión de poder demostrar a cada venezolano y se den cuenta de lo maravilloso que es El Sistema y que se sientan orgullosos de que un proyecto de esa magnitud aún siga en pie ya con 45 años. Que fue un 11 de febrero del año 1978, en una convocatoria que realizó el maestro José Antonio Abreu a la cual nada más asistieron 11 músicos, y el mismo les dijo que aún ahí comenzaría dicho proyecto llamado El Sistema, y ahora me siento orgulloso de poder decir que de 11 persona que asistieron ese día ahora somos más de un millón de niños y jóvenes que forman de el.

En el Sistema hay 12 programas en los cuales no solo de ve música académica, sino hay programas donde también se abarca música popular y nacional. Programas donde atienden a los más pequeños desde que apenas tienen 6 meses de gestación en la barriga de su madre hasta que tiene 3 años de edad. El programa de formación académica donde se encarga con un grupo de maestros y expertos de formar a los directores y docentes de El Sistema.
In the System there are 12 programs in which not only academic music is seen, but there are also programs that also include popular and national music. Programs where they take care of the little ones from when they are just 6 months pregnant in their mother's belly until they are 3 years old. The academic training program where a group of teachers and experts is in charge of training the directors and teachers of El Sistema.
