When a patient comes to me at the delivery room emergency room, a 30-year-old female with a 34-week pregnancy, controlled, a valuable fetus because due to fertility conditions it was not easy for her to conceive the pregnancy. This woman was transferred by paranedics after a traffic accident, caused by reckless people driving down the avenues as if they were on a highway. Receiving this wounded lady puzzled me because I was saying if she is a polytraumatized person because they bring her to the delivery room and not to the emergency room? And the lady tells me I am pregnant, take off the sheet and see my belly, please help me, save my baby, if you must choose between me and her, choose her life. It broke my heart into a thousand pieces. A great responsibility that that desperate muner delegated to us, the medical team on duty. She was immediately admitted to the operating room and an emergency cesarean section was performed, under general anesthesia ... The uncertainty and pressure she felt was impressive because we had the enormous responsibility of fighting for the life of the mother and the baby. ... In peak minutes we were able to breathe deeply and smile, cry with happiness when we saw this beautiful baby, who stared at us as if thanking us for helping her come into the world. A healthy, beautiful baby. Despite the bruises her mother suffered, she was not affected. A 34-week gestation newborn was obtained. Weight at birth 2950gr. Size 51cm. I cry and breathe spontaneously at birth. She is without a doubt a warrior baby and blessed by God. Waiting for her mother to recover satisfactorily to go home with her. Experiences that make a difference and make you grow as a professional and a human being ❤️❤️❤️
Saludos mis estimados amigos de Hive, en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes un post donde les comentare una maravillosa experiencia que vivi el dia de hoy en mi trabajo. Cuando me llega una paciente a emergencias de sala de partos, una femenina de 30 años de edad con un embarazo de 34 semanas, controlado, feto valioso ya que por condiciones de fertilidad no le fue facil concebir el embarazo. Esta señora fue trasladada por paranedicos posterior a un accidente de tránsito, provocado por unos imprudentes que conducen por las avenidas como si estuviesen en una autopista. Recibir a esta señora herida me desconcertó pues decia si es una politraumatizada porque la traen a sala de partos y no a sala de emergencias? Y la señora me dice estoy embarazada, quiteme la sabana y vera mi barriga, por favor ayudeme, salve a mi bebé, si debe elehir entre ella y yo elija la vida de ella. Me rompio el corazon en mil pedazos. Una gran responsabilidad la que esa desesperada muner delegaba sobre nosotros, el equipo medico de guardia. Se ingreso de inmediato a sala de quirófano y se e practico una cesarea de emergencia, bajo anestesia general... La incertidumbre y la presión que ae sentia era impresionante pues teniamos la enorme responsabilidad de luchar por la vida de la madre y de la bebé... En picos minutos pudimos respirar profundo y sonreír, llorar de felicidad al ver esta hermosa bebé, que nos miro fijamente como agradeciendo la hayamos ayudado a venir al mundo. Una bebe sana, hermosa. A pesar de las contusiones que sufrio su madre ella no fue afectada. Se obtuvo una revien nacida de 34 semanas de gestación. Peso al nacer 2950gr. Talla 51cm. Lloro y respiro espontáneamente al nacer. Es sin duda una bebe guerrera y bendecida por Dios. Esperando su mama se recupere satisfactoriamente para ir junto a ella a casa. Experiencias que marcan la diferencia y hacen crecer como profesional y ser humano ❤️❤️❤️
