Mi reflexión Sobre la Cuarentena | My thoughts about Quarantine

Bueno, ya se cumplió 1 año ahorita en marzo desde que se decretó la pandemia mundial y es increíble como paso todo tan rápido. Aún seguimos en cuarentena, pero quisiera contar aquí mi anécdota ante esta catástrofe que azota el mundo.

Well, it has been one year since the world pandemic was declared and it is incredible how everything happened so fast. We are still in quarantine, but I would like to tell here my anecdote before this catastrophe that is sweeping the world.

Ya había visto el anuncio que se había propagado por muchos países empezando desde Asia hasta Europa, todo lo veía por twitter y me estaba asustando porque aún no llegaba a mi país Venezuela y ya estaba el virus presente por aquellos países, se me vino a la mente exactamente todo. Como iba a impactar al mundo, que cambio iba a generar en nosotros los seres humanos, como iba a cambiar la economía, el interfaz, lo político y social. Es mi primera vez que experimento una pandemia mundial en mis 20 años y déjenme decirles que es fuerte porque, aunque nosotros los millenials tenemos ahora internet y tecnología para comunicarnos con nuestros amigos y familiares sigue siendo difícil ver gente con covid 19 y tener que estar alejados de ellos es difícil.

I had already seen the announcement that had spread through many countries starting from Asia to Europe, I was watching it all on Twitter and I was getting scared because it had not yet reached my country Venezuela and the virus was already present in those countries, exactly everything came to my mind. How it was going to impact the world, what change it was going to generate in us human beings, how it was going to change the economy, the interface, the political and social. It is my first time to experience a global pandemic in my 20 years and let me tell you it is strong because, although we Millenials now have internet and technology to communicate with our friends and family it is still difficult to see people with covid 19 and having to stay away from them is difficult.

Me impresiono mucho ver muchas calles solitarias y ver también como cambio la vida de muchos países, fue sorprendente yo nunca había visto algo así. En mi país Venezuela vivimos una crisis económica, humanitaria y social… Cuando llego esta cuarentena se puso muy complicado todo y eso me generaba estrés y ansiedad, pero poco a poco he ido controlando mis impulsos, mis pensamientos y sentimientos. Mi papá perdió el empleo que tenía el año pasado y fue difícil al principio, pero gracias a Dios este año consiguió trabajo y le ha ido bien. Gracias a Dios también conocí esta plataforma que no sabía que existía y que ha ayudado a muchas personas a generar un ingreso extra desde casa y eso me llena de mucha felicidad. Con la situación de Venezuela y la cuarentena se me pone difícil la situación y la de muchas personas a nivel mundial y con el simple hecho de que ha ayudado a muchas personas económicamente y personalmente es maravilloso.

I was very impressed to see many lonely streets and also to see how life changed in many countries, it was surprising, I had never seen anything like this. In my country Venezuela we are going through an economic, humanitarian, and social crisis... When this quarantine arrived everything became very complicated and that generated stress and anxiety in me, but little by little I have been controlling my impulses, my thoughts, and feelings. My dad lost the job he had last year and it was difficult at first, but thank God this year he got a job and has been doing well. Thanks to God I also knew about this platform that I did not know existed and that has helped many people to generate an extra income from home and that fills me with much happiness. With the situation in Venezuela and the quarantine, it is difficult for me and many people worldwide and the simple fact that it has helped many people economically and personally is wonderful.

Por ahí vi una frase que dice que si aprendiste algo sobre esta cuarentena y el distanciamiento social realmente te has convertido en una nueva versión de ti y para ser mejor persona ¡realmente es que si! Me enseño bastante a pesar de los malos ratos, me dejo mucho aprendizaje. Por ejemplo: valorar el tiempo.

I saw a phrase that says that if you learned something about this quarantine and social distancing you have really become a new version of yourself and to be a better person, it really is yes! It taught me a lot despite the bad times, it left me a lot of learning. For example: to value time.

El momento es ahora, de disfrutar cada detalle, cada momento, cada experiencia. Nunca perdamos la fe y las esperanzas de un provenir nuevo. Seamos nosotros mismos sin más, sin ataduras, sin miedos ni inseguridades

The time is now, to enjoy every detail, every moment, every experience. Let us never lose faith and hope for a new future. Let's just be ourselves, without ties, fears, or insecurities.

Esto lo escribí en vísperas de navidad y fin de año del 2020, me siento orgullosa que obtuve más allá de todo lo malo es agradecer la existencia que tenemos, no dejarnos abatir por el miedo y la incertidumbre en estos tiempos de crisis. Tenemos que ser fuerte y poder seguir adelante a pesar de las adversidades, agradecer que estamos vivos, que podemos respirar y que podemos proteger a todos siguiendo los lineamientos de bioseguridad porque lema siempre es “Si no me cuido yo ¿Cómo voy a cuidar y proteger a los demás? Nuestro deber es seguir protegiéndonos, cuidarnos para poder cuidar a los demás y no haya más contagios ¿Cuántas pruebas tenemos que pasar para ser empáticos y buenas personas? Si no mejoramos ahora en cuarentena, no seremos nada y no tendremos una enseñanza que dar a futuro.

I wrote this on the eve of Christmas and the end of the year 2020, I am proud that I got beyond all the bad things is to be grateful for the existence we have, not to be depressed by fear and uncertainty in these times of crisis. We have to be strong and be able to move forward despite the adversities, be grateful that we are alive, that we can breathe, and that we can protect everyone following the biosecurity guidelines because the motto is always "If I don't take care of me, how am I going to take care and protect others? Our duty is to continue protecting ourselves, to take care of ourselves so that we can take care of others and so that there are no more contagious. How many tests do we have to pass to be empathetic and good people? If we do not improve now in quarantine, we will be nothing and we will have no teaching to give in the future.

En Venezuela aplican 7x7 y eso significa que una semana es radical y la otra no y así va sucesivamente. Me impresiona mucho ver como aún hay gente que cree que esto es mentira y van por las calles sin mascarilla como si nada… Cuando hay mucha gente muriéndose por el mismo virus…

In Venezuela they apply 7x7 and that means that one week is radical and the other is not and so forth. I am very impressed to see how there are still people who believe that this is a lie and go through the streets without masks as if nothing happened... When many people are dying from the same virus...

Hoy se murió de covid la mamá de un compañero que estudio conmigo y uno queda en shock como puede irse alguien tan joven y llena de vida… La vida es un ratico, en un cerrar y abrir de ojos ya hemos perdido esa persona importante en nuestras vidas, por eso yo les dejo este mensaje:
Cuídense mucho, bastante, usen su mascarilla y permanezcan en casa.

Today the mother of one of my classmates who studied with me died of cancer and one is in shock how can someone so young and full of life go... Life is a short time, in the blink of an eye we have already lost that important person in our lives, that is why I leave you this message:
Take care of yourselves very, very well, use your mask and stay at home.

Esta plataforma llego en el momento exacto a mi vida y agradezco mucho por haber llegado a mi vida. Poco a poco me voy adaptando, aprendiendo y conociendo más sobre Hive.
