We all have some object that is able to transport us to a time and place, and that allows us to evoke not only the memory but also the emotions felt at that time. Now that my grandmother gave me something that was mine a few years ago, more than babies dressed up as animals, she gave me a direct ticket to 1997-1998, one of my golden ages in life.

Of those objects so significant of my childhood, the prizes in the meals stand out: tazos, crazy ice cubes, assembleable dolls, albums of figurines and so on... but, mainly the Parmalat dolls.

More than what it cost to have them, the point was to have them all. I remember perfectly that members of the family would ask you to barter them to complete the collections, obviously this was not going to be the exception.

This piggy was the one that came out the most, super repeated, it was one of the first specimens I got.

The little black and white dolls, this little team I called "the dalmatians", the funny thing is that only one was the little dog, the others were gorilla and panda bear.

Lion, Rhino and Elephant, these were "the Africans", no idea how I knew those animals were from that continent.

Rabbit, Mouse and Squirrel, they were always my favorites, I don't know why I thought they were so adorable, and I loved their colors.

These were some of the ones that couldn't stand the treats of a 6 year old girl and her witticisms.... Although they were glued their pieces back together, they were lost again.

I have some others, which are even in their plastic wrapping, I keep them in a special way, since they were given to me as a gift when they knew that that collection of toys had been left together with my childhood in my beloved land, Carúpano. Who would have thought that years later my grandmother would come up with the idea of giving me a little piece of the past?

Hola y bienvenidos a esta nueva entrada 😊 hoy les quiero hablar de un juguetes de premio que venían en un alimento lácteo, Parmalat.

Todos tenemos algún objeto que es capaz de trasladarnos a una época y lugar, y que permite evocar no solo el recuerdo sino también las emociones sentidas en aquel momento. Ahora que mi abuela me regaló algo que fue mío hace unos años, mas que unos bebés disfrazados de animales, me dió fue un boleto directo a 1997-1998, una de mis épocas doradas en la vida.

De esos objetos tan significativos de mi infancia, destacan los premios en las comidas: tazos, hielos p locos, muñecos armables, álbumes de figuritas y demás... pero, principalmente los muñecos de Parmalat.
Es que más que lo que pudiese costar tenerlos, la cuestión era tenerlos todos. Recuerdo perfectamente que miembros de la familia te planteaban trueques para así completar las colecciones, evidentemente esta no iba a ser la excepción.

Este cerdito era el que más salía, súper repetido, fue uno de los primeros ejemplares que obtuve.

Los muñequitos de blanco y negro, a este pequeño equipo yo los llamaba "los dálmata", lo más curioso es que sólo uno era el perrito, los demás eran gorila y oso panda.

León, Rinoceronte y Elefante, estos eran "los africanos", ni idea de cómo supe que esos animales eran de aquel continente.

Conejo, ratón y Ardilla, siempre fueron mis favoritos, no sé por qué me parecían tan adorables, y me encantaban sus colores.

Estos fueron algunos de los que no soportaron los tratos de una niña de 6 años y sus ocurrencias... Aunque fueron pegadas sus piezas nuevamente, se volvieron a perder.

Tengo algunos otros, que están incluso en su envoltura de plástico, los conservo se manera especial, ya que esos me los regalaron cuando supieron que aquella colección de juguetes había quedado junto con mi infancia en mi tierra amada, Carúpano. Quién diría que a la vuelta de los años a mi abuela se le iba a ocurrir la idea de regalarme un pedacito del pasado?
