It all started when I was 19 years old, I was checking one of my social networks and a video appeared on "how to cover blemishes" which caught my attention since I have suffered from acne since I was 16 years old, I watched a video and then another and another and the more videos, I saw the more interesting it seemed to me but I was not the typical girl who used makeup every day for reasons such as: I did not know much about makeup, I did not have how to buy it and more that I did not know what products to use to avoid damaging my complexion, so I came to think that that was not going to be for me.
Iban pasando los días y yo miraba que mi suegra @yalilys tenía varias cositas que salían en los videos pero aun yo no me sentía en la capacidad de recrear algún tutorial que había visto así que no dije nada y continuaba viendo mis videos, pasaban los meses y yo solo buscaba el precio de los productos de maquillaje para comenzar con algo pero no me atrevía a comprar por miedo, claro que yo contaba con lo básico que era: base de maquillaje, polvo compacto, rímel, y un labial. Eso me hacía sentir mal porque no tenía lo que yo quería.
The days went by and I saw that my mother-in-law, @Yalilys, had several little things that appeared in the videos, but even I did not feel able to recreate a tutorial that I had seen so I did not say anything and continued watching my videos, the months passed and I was just looking for the price of makeup products to start something but I didn't dare to buy out of fear, of course I had the basics that it was: makeup base, compact powder, mascara, and lipstick. That made me feel bad because I didn't have what I wanted.
Pasados 6 meses mi novio y yo cambiamos de ciudad y volvimos a Guayana y rehicimos nuestra vida pero no contábamos con internet y era más difícil poder ver videos y tutoriales. Alrededor de 3 meses cayó cuarentena y tuve que parar mi trabajo así que mi novio me traía a la casa algunos videos descargados para yo aprender, el veía el empeño que yo le ponía y me apoyaba en todo, así que, decidí que era el momento de hacer mi propio maquillaje por primera vez y esto fue lo que salió.
After 6 months my boyfriend and I changed cities and returned to Guyana and rebuilt our lives but we did not have internet and it was more difficult to watch videos and tutorials. About 3 months the quarantine fell and I had to stop my work so my boyfriend brought me some downloaded videos to learn, he saw the effort I put into him and supported me in everything, so I decided it was time doing my own makeup for the first time and this is what came out.
Yo no me sentía muy segura de lo que hacía porque era la primera vez y obviamente no tenia sombras de ojos así que me tocó improvisar , claro que no estaba tan bonito como el de los videos, así que yo seguí con mi rutina de ver los videos para aprender un poco más.Pasados varios meses mi novio me regalo mi primera paleta de maquillaje, yo me sentí la mujer más feliz de este mundo.
I did not feel very sure of what I was doing because it was the first time and obviously I did not have eye shadows so I had to improvise, of course it was not as beautiful as the one in the videos, so I continued with my routine of watching the videos, videos to learn a little more. After several months my boyfriend gave me my first makeup palette, I felt the happiest woman in this world.
Ahí fue cuando me enfoque en practicar más las sombras en los ojos y lograr que el maquillaje se viera más impecable.
That's when I focused on practicing the eyeshadows more and making the makeup look more flawless.
El me ha apoyado en esto desde el primer dia, asi que para un aniversario nuestro decidio regalarme una lampara en forma de aro de luz para mejorar la calidad de mis fotos.
He has supported me in this from the first day, so for an anniversary of ours he decided to give me a lamp in the shape of a ring of light to improve the quality of my photos
Yo tambien he puesto de mi parte para que esto sea cada dia mas apasionante para mi porque se ha convertido en eso, en mi pasion y mi fuerte.
I have also done my part to make this more exciting for me every day because it has become that, my passion and my strength.
Luego ya con mi trabajo pude reunir para comprarme mi otra paleta de maquillaje
Then with my work I was able to gather to buy my other makeup palette.
Siempre estoy creando nuevos maquillajes para tener mas experiencia y estar mas capacitada.I am always creating new makeup to have more experience and be more capable.
Se que voy a llegar lejos porque creo en mi potencial y me siento en la capacidad de poder hacer lo que me propongo.
I know that I am going to go far because I believe in my potential and I feel in the ability to do what I set out to do.
Al principio me daba terror el “Que dirán” porque no sabía nada del mundo del maquillaje y a causa de mi piel grasa, eso me frustraba mucho, tanto así que me puse el reto de no comer mantequilla solo para poder desintoxicar mi piel y hacer que no se me reproduzcan los granitos en la cara.
At first I was terrified of “What will they say” because I didn't know anything about the world of makeup and because of my oily skin, that frustrated me a lot, so much so that I challenged myself not to eat butter just to be able to detoxify my skin and make it do not reproduce the pimples on my face.
Soy de piel acneica y no es fácil vivir con eso pero estoy segura de que saldré de ello porque cuido mi piel con agua de rosas, cremas hidratantes, dermisa y otros productos que me hacen ver la mejoría en mi rostro y por si fuera poco mascarillas para puntos negros.
I have acne skin and it is not easy to live with it but I am sure that I will get out of it because I take care of my skin with rose water, moisturizers, dermis and other products that make me see the improvement in my face and if that were not enough masks for blackheads.
Solo les digo que si quieren hacer algo y no se sienten seguros, inténtenlo porque esta vida está llena de retos y de eso se trata, de asumirlos y hacer que funcionen nuestros planes.
I only tell them that if they want to do something and do not feel safe, try it because this life is full of challenges and that is what it is about, assuming them and making our plans work.
