Nowadays our nature has become such that we cannot believe in our own work. We value the opinions of others more than our own. Many times we rush to the other side of the advice of others. It is not the success of our work but the failure that is achieved in our life.
How much has our mentality changed? Due to which we lose confidence in ourselves. Many times, even when our decision is right, we think it is wrong in the words of others. In other words, I backed away from that decision. The result is what happens. That is, we tend to make wrong decisions.
It has become our habit to check with our left hand if we have successfully completed a task with the right hand.
As an example, we often check our house to see if it is locked. For example, many times after locking with the right hand, I check with the left hand whether the lock looks right. We have low self-confidence in all areas of our lives. That is, we do not believe in our own work. I do not give priority to my own decision.
Perhaps our ninth and tenth grade Bangla textbooks had a story called "Pandashram". There the author beautifully highlights the lack of self-confidence that we have. In the story, a man is running after a chile. Seeing his running face, many asked, what is the reason? He said Chile has taken the ear! After hearing this, the rest of the people started running after the kite. Then a man came and asked what happened? Why run after the chile? Then the man said he had taken my ear! Then the man said if you look at your ears with your hands, do you have ears? Then the man did not see with his hands, the ears are all right! Then the man kept thinking in his mind why I ran for so long after listening to others.
This is our situation in reality. We believe in the words of others without believing in ourselves. Which is really sad and the main reason for our failure. I remember, I filled out an OMR(optical mark reader) answer sheet on an exam with an MCQ( Multiple choice question) question. I'm going to do. At that time our friend said your answer is not correct. I fell into confusion and accepted his answer correctly. My answer was correct if I came out of the test hall. But I lost my self-confidence in my friend's words. I learned something from that.
In fact, we are more dependent on the words of others at all stages of our lives. I am no exception. But we should get out of here. One's own opinion or decision should be given priority. It is true that many times the intellect of others is needed. But we should not neglect our own decisions. So in many cases we will succeed if we prioritize our decisions.
Thanks everyone. I apologize for any inaccuracies in my writing. Because I am a human being. As a human being can be wrong. If wrong, be sure to cooperate with skeptical advice. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read my article.
