La cita fue a las 5:45 am, esperamos que llegara otro compaΓ±ero y salimos a las 5:55 am, un clima fresco nos acompaΓ±o en la gran parte de la ruta, lo que si nos encontramos en el camino, fueron muchos motorizados que venian a toda velocidad, por lo que andabamos con mucha precaucion esto si es lo malo de correr los Domingos, ya que hay aun mas amanecidos, hay que estar pendiente con las motos, carros sobre todo en esta temporada navideΓ±a. Durante el entrenamiento mantuve un ritmo objetivo entre 6:30 - 5:5o, midiendome los dos ultimos kilometros bajando velocidad a ver que tal me respondian las piernas despues de la carga de kilometros, bueno me senti bien, claro un poco fatigada, y sin duda alguna la estrategia de hidratacion, y recarga de energia me ha hecho bien ya que no termino mareada, y las piernas aun con energia. Gracias a Dios seguimos cumpkiendo el plan de alimentacion. ππ½ππ½ππ½

Sunday, today was the long training session of the week. For this session, we did a route with few hills and a shorter distance, not ideal for half marathon training, because on Sunday my husband and I will be participating in a race, and so we didn't want to burden our bodies with kilometres that would take longer to recover from, and thus be lighter on our feet. The planned and completed kilometres for this training session were 14 km. We set off with part of the group, and we met other runners on the route who were reconnoitring the course for Sunday 14th, to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the city of Carupano, located in the state of Sucre.
The meeting time was 5:45 a.m. We waited for another teammate to arrive and left at 5:55 a.m. The weather was cool for most of the route, but we did encounter many motorcycles speeding by, so we had to be very careful. This is the downside of running on Sundays, as there are even more early risers, so you have to watch out for motorbikes and cars, especially during the Christmas season. During training, I maintained a target pace of between 6:30 and 5:50, measuring the last two kilometres by slowing down to see how my legs would respond after the mileage. Well, I felt good, a little tired, of course, but without a doubt, the hydration and energy replenishment strategy has done me good, as I didn't end up dizzy and my legs still had energy. Thank God we are still following the nutrition plan. ππ½ππ½ππ½
