Hola amigos. Hoy les traje, con mi dúo de flautas, algunas melodías de la saga de Harry Potter. En total son tres de los temas principales escritos por John Williams que les voy a presentar.
Hello friends. Today I brought you, with my flute duo, some tunes from the Harry Potter saga. In total there are three of the main themes written by John Williams that I am going to present to you.
La primera, en tonalidad menor, se deja escuchar desde los títulos de la primera película: Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal. Este tema, según diversas fuentes está dedicado a Hedwig’s (la lechuza de Harry), y a partir de él, se derivan otros temas a menara de variaciones. El instrumento con que se toca, originalmente, es la celesta.
The first one, in a minor key, can be heard from the titles of the first movie: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. This theme, according to various sources, is dedicated to Hedwig's (Harry's owl), and from it, other themes are derived as variations. The instrument with which it is played, originally, is the celesta.
Tema I || Theme I
Este tema se escuchará en muchas oportunidades durante toda la saga y nos da la sensación del uso de la magia.
This theme will be heard many times throughout the saga and gives us the feeling of the use of magic.
El Tema II es la primera variación que escuchamos del tema principal y se mantienen, la tonalidad y el ritmo. Si observamos con atención, podemos notar que, solo cambian algunos compases, el final sigue igual.
Theme II is the first variation we hear of the main theme and the tonality and rhythm are maintained. If we observe carefully, we can notice that only some measures change, the ending remains the same.
Tema II || Theme II
El Tema III es completamente diferente, para comenzar podemos señalar que cambia a un compás de 4/4, aunque se mantiene en una modalidad menor, con una modulación.
Theme III is completely different, to begin with we can point out that it changes to a 4/4 time signature, although it remains in a minor mode, with a modulation.
