I love to try new things! Such learning experience are always worthwhile. Ever since I joined Hive on 2nd January 2021, it's been an exciting journey and now….I get to be a hivetorch keeper! LOL.

Today I got to hold the #hivetorch for like an hour or so before I passed it on.
When I first heard of the hivetorch, I was curious, like is it a torch for REAL? Your guess is as good as mine. Thankfully, @jamerussell put me through on what the hive torch is all about and I appreciate him for this.
The hivetorch is a 'social experiment' started by @geekgirl where someone sends you some hives and you transfer (after adding not more than one hive to it) as fast as possible to another active, trusted hiver who will also do the same.
The hives in trust will keep going round until it gets to 333 and the hivetorch community will then decide what to do with it. You may read more about this initiative HERE.
@wesphilbin informed me via DM that he had passed the hivetorch to me! Omg! These gentlemen believed in me and did not doubt that I could do it, never mind that I am a newbie on Hive. The torch has been passed 236 times and I received 277 hives.
I gladly talked my friend and amazing gentleman @kenechukwu97 into being a part of this initiative.
I happily passed the hive torch to him after adding my own contribution to it. I am elated to be a part of this social experiment aimed at building our community.
