So you see, your climate is perfect because the field besides the flowers on the photo was the one we grew pumkins last year.
But not this year. As I am not fit enough to help a lot in the garden we decided to give up this field 🤷♀️

if the surface of the land does not work then build high boxes and collect all the summer grass and other organic waste into that box and you'll have a big box for the next year.
Oh we still have the other bigger field, but no place for a pumpkin there 🙂 and a pot would be even more work
