First Small Potato Harvest This Year

( EN / DE ) It was a first attempt, which happened by chance, to grow potatoes in a big pot this year. I was also totally late and had only "laid" the potatoes in July, as they say. Today was the last nice day, according to the weather forecast it is supposed to get cooler and rainy from tomorrow. So it's time to see what's in the pot!
Es war ein erster Versuch, der sich zufällig ergeben hat, dieses Jahr Kartoffeln in einem großen Topf anzubauen. Auch war ich total spät dran und hatte die Kartoffeln erst im Juli "gelegt" wie man so schön sagt. Heute nun war der letzte schöne Tag laut Wetter Prognose soll es ab morgen kühler und regnerisch werden. Also Zeit nachzusehen, was sich in dem Topf befindet!

I was happy with the harvest and also I really hope that all of the strangely coloured Hokkaido pumpkins will be edible. You only notice when you taste a piece of the raw pumpkin. If it is bitter, it is unfortunately not edible.
In any case, the potatoes will taste great, even with the skin, because home-grown potatoes are guaranteed to be very good.
Ich war happy mit der Ernte und auch hoffe ich sehr, dass alle der merkwürdig gefärbten Hokkaido Kürbisse essbar sein werden. Das merkt man eben erst, wenn man ein Stück vom rohen Kürbis kostet. Ist er bitter, dann ist er leider nicht geniessbar.
Auf jeden Fall aber werden die Kartoffeln lecker sein und das dann auch mit Schale, weil sie selbst gezüchtet garantiert sehr gut ist.
