I remember my first visit to Ban Hat Lek border 2 years ago when I brought some stuff to my aunt who lived in Koh Kong province of Cambodia. I brought things at the border door without walking across the border, because at that time closed the border, banning the country because of the control measures of the COVID-9 virus and after officially opened the border. After the epidemic situation improved I have opportunity to go to Ban Hat Lek border checkpoint again this's second times I been here. The atmosphere I saw this time was different from when the checkpoint was closed as the hustle and bustle of people crossing the border from both Thailand and Cambodia made it look more lively. Shops on the Thai side of the border have shops open on both sides of the road, with most of the shop owners being Cambodians who have rented out shops to sell their products. On weekends, Cambodians like to cross over to the Thai side and take a dark blue mini bus to the shopping mall in Trat town, about 80 km from the border checkpoint, and behind the shop is Young. There is a sea view point, able to see the fishing boat and the sunset beautifully time.
