We're moving on to one of the Provinces I again, fell in love with!, Phrae!
In this post, we're not talking about Phrea cuisine or Phrae food for now as we just got here! I would like to share a few meals/snack we have grabbed on the way going from Khao Khao district to Phrae Province.
First we stopped by just at a random restaurant by the main road. Krua Khun Taew Restaurant (ร้านอาหาร ครัวคุณแต๋ว). This one is quite random. We haven't heard about then, didn't see any fancy sign nor busy with crowd but we stopped by anyways. It looks hella local! They feature their jungle food which is all kinds of intense flavors with all the herbs cook with wild animal or other regular ones. We went with Stir fry basil with crispy pork, spicy herb stir fry with boar and Frog jungle soup. Whaaa!! Sounds a little weird for you I suppose! Especially that last menu item!
All the plates just packed with with herbs and spices! So if you're a spices lover, this could be a place for you to get that delicious heat!
Then once we get to Phrae, before we went ahead and got some real meals, we were just snacking away! Steamed Rice Skin Dumplings (Khao Kriab Pak moh - ข้าวเกรียบปากหม้อ) Rice batter wonton and a sweeten pork-peanut filling. that we found on the way walking around for some good food! Located just right before Kad Phranon, one of the most famous restaurants around the area.
Another Thai snack I'm sure a lot of you would just fall in love because how exotic and delicious it is! A plus with this one is that, the seller gave us a good spot for some Phrae local food so, the next post I will be sharing will be just litttt!

Only have had them once but I liked them. That teamed up with boar and spices is something I would go after on a menu though!
