Hello everyone,

During my semester break, I decided to take on the task of relearning German. Learning this complex and fascinating language can be a daunting task, but with the right method, it can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I found that the Duolingo app was a fantastic tool to help me achieve my goal.

Duolingo is a language learning app that offers a variety of interactive lessons and exercises. The app is designed to be user-friendly and makes learning a new language feel like a game. The lessons are short and easy to follow, which made it easy for me to do it anytime and anywhere. I found the app's interactive exercises to be very helpful in reinforcing what I had learned. It also provided me with immediate feedback on my progress, which helped me to identify my weakness.

One of the things I like about Duolingo is that it adapts to my level of proficiency. As I progressed through the lessons, the app would adjust the difficulty level accordingly, which made it challenging but not overwhelming. The app also provides a variety of speaking and listening exercises, which helped to improved my pronunciation and fluency.

Another feature that I found very useful on Duolingo was the ability to set daily goals and track my progress. This helped me to stay motivated and on track with my language learning journey. The app also provides a variety of rewards, such as badges and virtual currency, which added an element of fun to the learning experience and makes me competitive.

Duolingo also offers a variety of additional resources to help me learn German. The app has a built-in dictionary, which I found to be very helpful when I came across a word that I didn't know. The app also includes a feature that allows me to listen to the phrases, which helped me to improve my listening comprehension.

However, learning German just through the app might not me enough. Therefore, I have also been learning German through immersion. This meant listening to German music, watching German movies and dramas. I am also still looking for friends or partners to practice speaking German with.

Overall, refreshing my German during my semester break was an incredibly rewarding experience. I am hoping that by gaining this skill, it would open up many new opportunities for me.
