Black Friday Sales & Christmas Parties - Decemeber

Every year, I found that December is the month I dread the most. There would be many school activities, Christmas parties, school bands, and more celebrations. This year is the same. Throwing Black Friday Sales, the first week of December has been a crazy one. Every weekend we either have a Christmas party or a birthday party, life is pretty busy.

Let's start with our buys at Muji Black Friday Sale. We have a new Muji reopening at a new store location and this store has a much better layout than the last so we decided to check it out. Hubby thought it was a good idea to get some new pillows which I thought was right so we got a pillow each. Then we saw the sale sign for their nice sheets. This special offer is only available in store and not online therefore we had a look at the pricing, thinking it was pretty reasonable considering its made by Muji so bought a full set for our bed. We spent $400 around 30 minutes before we didn't even have anything in mind to buy. Other than bed sheets, we saw some great sales for clothing but we are going to Japan soon so we decided to skip that section.

BB M's birthday is the end of the month but like usual, I would organise it early in December so most of his friends are still at school and not away on holidays. We are having a bowling party so that was pretty easy to organise. I would just need to pick a package, food, and drinks and the event organisers will deal with the rest. Sounds easy but with over 15 kids in one area, it can be pretty hectic.

For the Christmas parties, we are so busy and out of weekends, my family's Christmas party will be held on a Monday night. Yes, Monday night. Pretty funny because all our weekends are full. Just last weekend, our friends ordered a few sushi platters, Korean food and KFC for their party so we had a great spread of food. Parties are fun but also tiring, I am grateful to catch up with our friends but a month of them each week is enough and I would need a few more weeks after to recover.
