I didn't have much time to train today, and the sky was threatening to storm so I decided to cut my training time and do something more intense in order to improve my cruising speed.
I opted to do a "flat" Fartlek, that is, 1-minute intervals at high intensity, that is, in the anaerobic range, alternating between them with recovery jogging intervals of the same duration.
The objective is to maintain a high, but controlled, heart rate, with minimal rest and working on the running style while at the fast pace but without losing physical integrity, that is, I ran the fast intervals at a pace of 4'/km...
I felt good running fast again although I admit that I am far from maintaining a good pace for a long time yet... a question of time.
Keep on running!
