Continuando con la competición 70.3 realizada ayer en la ciudad de Cumaná, Estado Sucre, Venezuela.

La última disciplina de este triatlón consistía en trotar una distancia de 21 Km luego de nadar y montar bicicleta por 1.9 y 90 Km respectivamente. Ya en este punto el agotamiento físico se hacía ver, eso sin contar el calor propio de la ciudad. Muchos atletas mantuvieron su ritmo durante toda la competición, otros redujeron la marcha pero a pesar de la fatiga y calambres ninguno desistió. Para que se den una idea de lo arduo que es, el evento tiene una duración máxima de 7 horas con 30 minutos, realmente un desafío para aquellos que fueron capaces de enfrentar dicho reto, el último competidor llegó luego de 7 horas y 23 minutos,es decir, faltando 7 minutos para finalizar y dando así un ejemplo de perseverancia a los presentes.
(Tambien hubo un evento muy emotivo protagonizado por dos de los competidores)

Continuing with the 70.3 competition held yesterday in the city of Cumaná, Sucre State, Venezuela.

The last discipline of this triathlon consisted of running a distance of 21 km after swimming and cycling for 1.9 and 90 km respectively. At this point, the physical exhaustion was already apparent, not to mention the heat of the city. Many athletes maintained their pace throughout the competition, while others reduced their pace, but despite fatigue and cramps, none gave up. To give you an idea of how arduous it is, the event has a maximum duration of 7 hours and 30 minutes, really a challenge for those who were able to face the challenge, the last competitor arrived after 7 hours and 23 minutes, that is, 7 minutes before the end, thus giving an example of perseverance to the present.There was also a very emotional event involving two of the competitors.
