Excited Mommy

She might look like she's always laughing and smiling, but the truth is, she often gets grumpy and cries easily. She always wants to be carried because her dad got her used to it. His reason was that he couldn’t resist, so now, she always wants to be carried.

In just a few days, my baby girl will be 1 year old. I'm more excited for her birthday than she is because she doesn’t know anything yet, she doesn’t even know she’s having a birthday. As for me, I don’t know what to prioritize. Her clothes are ready, the venue and guests are set, but I still need to prepare the giveaways for her birthday, and I haven’t decided on the cake yet. Hopefully, we can have a photoshoot next week, both for her and a family picture.

I have so many ideas and things I want to do for her birthday.

I’m a first-time mom, so of course, I want to give the best for my baby girl. It might not be the best in the whole world, but it will be the best that my efforts can provide.

Yesterday, I took a picture of her while her dad was carrying her. She was so happy because she saw so many things, though she didn’t realize how heavy she was. Hahaha!!!

Her smile brings me so much joy. Every time she smiles, it lightens my mood because seeing her happy makes me happy too.

I guess it’s rare to find a mother who’s mean to her child. I know there are mothers like that, although I don’t know their reasons. Even if I did, I might still not understand them.

Because, right? Babies are so cute, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with their smile.
