Learning does not acquired only in the four corners of a classroom. Playing is equally important as learning letters and numbers because to develop a child holistically they must be engaged to activities outside the classroom.
Our school sports coordinator initiated sportsfest every friday stating this month of September. The aim of this is to let learners become stress free from any stress of school works. More so, we believed that allowing learners to play with other learners has a lot of benefits for them. Play will improve the cognitive, physical, mental, social and emotional well-being of children. More so, it helps learners builds healthy body and brain, improves communication skills, boost self-esteem, builds healthy friendship/camaraderie, play also teaches cooperation, problem solving and creativity!
For the kindergarten to grade 3 we prepared games that promotes preservation of "laro ng lahi" (Filipino Indigenous games). For the Grade 4 to Grade 6 they are trained and engaged in athletics games to prepare and inspire them to become famous athletes someday.
