Well, you might have been waiting for my full blown travel blog about the Chocolate Hills from my last year's Bohol Travel Blog series, but sorry not sorry to disappoint you but you aren't seeing a full blown blog about the world famous Chocolate Hills.
I'm still grateful that it was part of our incentive trip last year but it's not my first time to visit it. Despite seeing it before, the Chocolate Hills look prettier and younger every time I see them. In order to get the perfect view of the Chocolate Hills, you should climb one of the hills that has been converted into a viewing deck. Don't you freak out with the word 'climbing' as you don't have to be too sporty for you to climb it. The local tourism of Bohol paved the way until the top of the viewing deck. During this visit, I even ran to the top. I was excited to see how Chocolate Hills look these days given the typhoon that came less than a year from my time of visit. I looked like a typhoon never came actually. Everything was perfectly normal and the same as my last visit here.
I was elated to realize that tourism has been restored though not fully. I spotted many tourists both locals and foreigners that afternoon. To many, it might not mean a thing but to Boholanos whose source of income is tourism, this means everything to them. I'm glad tourism is picking up again just like the old days.
We spent a good 20 minutes here perhaps since it was the farthest destination of our first day. We had to go back to Tagbilaran City but before we head there, I'll be sharing to you in my next post the true highlight of my Bohol trip! The kid in me is excited! 😍

They do look cute the hills… so different than the rest of the surroundings.
Great to see it looked like the typhoon never happened and that tourism is picking up again.
Have a lovely week further 👋🏻😊

I am glad that tourists are returning to my favourite country in the world. It must have been very hard, first covid and than this typhoon.
Ganda ng hills. Medyo brown pa. Namiss ko tuloy peanut kisses.
Bohol will always amaze travelers with its captivating beauty and natural wonders. Hopefully, I can visit the place soon.
I went to bohol twice already, and viewing them was my favorite. I like to watch them there (viewing deck). I also love to see them closely thru road trip in bohol.
