Hall's Fell Ridge

Halls Fell Ridge is a succession of challenging low crags. Together they make the walk up Blencathra one of the finest in the Lake District. The walk up Blencathra is one of the best hikes in the Lake District.

Hey, I saw in a post by steevec saying you're in Newcastle too. Btw I'm also into chess, climbing and skiing, and I'm a software engineer too so with so many coincidences I was thinking it'd be cool to meet for a pint if youre up for it

Looks like a fun scramble up! What are the crags like out there? Sport? Trad?

My local area has a lot of sandstone and sport crags. But can drive out Joshua Tree National Park for great trad climbing on high friction granite.

Mainly trad, there’s limestone, slate and granite all close by. Some great easy multi pitch routes too. I would love to climb in North America!
