I think too many people over fantasise about moving and living in a new country just because they had a brilliant holiday there, or because they're pissed off with the situation at home. Nowhere is perfect in this world and once they settle down in their new fantasy country they get shocked again
Exactly this. Ive lived in a couple countries now for a couple of years and they all had their pros and cons.
One thing I did know there... it was really helpfull having a steady job. For the language, for the getting to know people. Starting a business of my own somewhere else would have been so challenging.
But indeed...idealizing is unrealistic. Although for a lot of people it would be could to get out of their habit for a while and see that the world had more options haha.
I know the UK has a show like that as well right?
