I've been critical of DOGE in that I'm skeptical about its ability to deliver anywhere near as much as promised, but also hopeful that it'll produce good recommendations that could result in meaningful and positive change that's simply more limited than advertised.

This is their first... press release, I guess? Their opening outline of where they might go with it? The op-ed seems pretty well reasoned and positive overall. What do you think about the proposals here?

This was heading east this evening after a bizarre storm came through that stirred up so much dust and blew leaves all over the place with some intense wind.

The rain cloud was huge as it crossed most of the sky, and the setting sun turned it golden.
