Greetings Hivers, We had a wonderful experience at the beginning of this year, a day of reconnecting with nature. On January 7th, we were still in the state of Sucre visiting our relatives, and we took the opportunity to take a trip to Las Aguas de Moisés, a thermal waters resort located east of the state capital, in Cariaco, Municipality Ribero.

At one time this place was full of life, paradisiacal landscapes that allowed us to spend a pleasant day with family and friends enjoying its spectacular spring wells. Unfortunately, nowadays, the maintenance of these spaces has declined a bit, but in spite of this, there are still people who want to rescue the majestic beauty that Las Aguas de Moisés once had ( Map->).

That day was not very sunny and it was a little breezy, but we still had a nice time.

I enjoyed, along with my husband and daughter, the crystal clear waters. We also ate a delicious lunch that you can buy from the local vendors, who had a great selection of fried fish, broaster chicken and grilled sea and land, all served with a good portion of salad, accompanied with cornmeal buns or patacones.

It was a special day in which we were able to share quality family time, enjoying the nature still present in this magical place.

I hope to come back another time and find the full recovery of this paradise 🙏.
