Hi everyone unfortunately due to a flurry of work, I didn't manage to add a weekly post yesterday regarding the latest thoughts and putting them into memes. However, nothing was lost because, today I found a moment, and as a result, we'll laugh about the big stock market drops, talk a little about a new idea from the developers of Splinterlands, and at the very end we'll get a sneak peek at economic topics.
Everyone run away!
Let's start perhaps with the sled-like descent of the Bitcoin price. This is a really interesting phenomenon because just a few days ago everyone thought that people who did not buy cryptocurrencies during the recent decline are already in a lost position, while now we are back to the minima and, in addition, plotting new ones. What is interesting and most intriguing is that the recent declines strongly differ from previous ones in the fact that the largest BTC wallets are not accumulating significant funds, which may tell us that this is only the beginning of the real descent. Where only the strongest will survive, and as for the strongest, mention and congratulate our small native cryptocurrency HIVE, as it is doing really well. Despite such huge declines, it is holding itself around $0.55, which is really a surprisingly good result. The funny thing is that just a few months ago, I wouldn't have even thought this would be a good result, where everyone was buying HIVE above $1.
Developers from Splinterlands do not disappoint.
We've been getting reports for a while now that even though we're full of SPS, DEC, or VOUCHERs there still won't be enough for the upcoming stuff. And at the very beginning, I thought we were only talking about Splinterlands, but I was very wrong, because it has been announced that the possibility of buying the first packs for the latest Tower Defense game is about to start, and interestingly the economics have been done in such a way that as many tokens as possible will be absorbed. On the one hand, I am very happy looking at how fast everything is developing, but on the other hand, many purchases are flying between my fingers, one of such things is LICENSE, whose price in connection with the going up of the price of VOUCHERS has skyrocketed and is already oscillating around 3500 HIVE, were just a few weeks ago the price was equal to 2500 HIVE. One thing that puzzles me about all this is how it will all compare to the big drops in cryptocurrencies. Will the prices continue to rise after all, and will people decide to buy all this stuff. I think this is a really big test for the whole Splinterlands world. Below I've placed a couple of concept art, so far it looks really solid, it may not be Monkeys yet, but it seems to me that with more capital, the developers will really make a marvel that will be played for pleasure at leisure, because, however, that's what it's all about here and it's the most important element for players to want to buy more cards.
Concept arts:
Is there a recession in the market?
I've been watching the markets around the world for some time now, and I can see that we're finally reaching the point where more and more people can't afford to repay their loans, because banks are raising interest rates to prevent inflation, and there are the first signs that wage cuts are being implemented, and the owners of large companies are laying off more and more people. One thing that puzzles me is what this recession will be characterized by, whether it will be related to housing, credit, banks, or maybe cryptocurrencies themselves. All I can say is to wish everyone a lot of strength and calm because one hundred percent it will come in handy for all of us.
