I might have a poltergeist.

As if stuff couldn't get any weirder. Diego has slept on this doggie bed between my bed and a dresser for at least five years now, ever since my other dog, Eddie, passed. The dresser is solid pine and I believe it is custom made from the handwritten numbers on the inside of the drawers and the fact that there are secret compartments inside that I didn't discover until after I purchased it, along with a matching Armoire and end table at a used furniture warehouse in San Francisco, at a very good price. It is very heavy and no pressboard, all solid wood.

So, this evening I was watching a documentary on TV and Diego gave me that look, when are you coming to bed? I said, go night night, I'll be in soon. Over the volume of the TV, I suddenly heard some loud banging and crashing noises and I heard Diego squeal, and then he ran into the LV with wild and frightened eyes.

I went into the bedroom to see the second from the bottom right drawer lying upright in the center of his dog bed! WTF? As I have said, this is heavy furniture and I am clueless that he could have somehow opened that drawer and make it fall on him! Even if he had some how gotten his foot on the nob and pulled it out, there is a catch in the back that stops it from falling. And it was right side up with contents not spilled or anything.

Now he won't go back on his dog bed. So what now? I've got a poltergeist?
