Hello, my friends.
I am very fond of flowers. This is my joy and true love and passion. Being in a country where a huge number of different varieties of blooming beauty are grown, it is difficult to remain indifferent, because almost every minute, at every step, you can see the miracle of nature that we call flowers. Especially with the onset of spring, there are a lot of them. Everything is in full bloom, shining with thousands of shades of different colours.
The Netherlands is a country of tulips. This is a kind of business card that is invariably associated with it. I know that the Netherlands gave Ukraine a lot of tulip bulbs, which can now be seen on the streets of our cities. By the way, about 5 years ago, I received 5 bulbs of these flowers from the Netherlands, which were supposed to bloom black, but in fact they were a deep dark purple. But the key words are "were supposed to". For some reason, not a single bulb survived the winter. Either the winter was so cold, or I did something wrong. In a word - failure.
But today is not about that. I want to share my impressions of the sea of tulips. Why the sea? Because the fields, planted with even rows of flowers, really seem like a colourful, extraordinary sea. These are the outskirts of Essay, a town that literally lives on growing flowers. It is here that the famous royal park of Keukenkof is located. Most businesses and farms specialise in growing tulips. It is here that the fields are full of bright colours, and it was in Essen that I saw such huge areas planted with flowers for the first time in my life.
You know, I wanted to look at this miracle from afar to fully imagine the grandeur of this unearthly beauty. And I did not regret driving a little further. The sight is truly mesmerising: it feels like red, yellow and green rivers flowing under a blue sky. You can watch this landscape for hours.
I had a lot of fun on my trip to the Tulip Sea. These impressions will stay with me for the rest of my life.
