ENGLISH

Hello my friends of this community, I am glad to greet you. Today I want to share with you these photos I took with my cellular redmi 8, while I was doing maintenance activities in a meeting place. It caught my attention when in the distance I saw something green, a kind of animal that was stuck outside the water pipe. As I got closer, I noticed that it was not an animal as I thought, because it was not moving, so I took these pictures to find out what it was. To my surprise, after asking the neighbors there and researching on the internet, it was the eggs of a type of snail.

Water snails are mollusks that vary in size and appearance, as well as their eggs. Some lay their eggs by digging into the ground and laying them there and there are others, like this one I got, that lay their eggs outside, stuck to any surface that is close to the water. They lay them there because the eggs need moisture, but not to be totally in the water. And near the pipe where I got these, you can see inside a drainage gutter, the amount of these little snails stuck on the walls. According to a local lady who has seen when these mollusks are born, when they are born, at the beginning they only have the gelatinous part of their body, they are similar to a worm, then little by little they form the shell that covers them...did you know this?...impressive, isn't it?

In my case, first time that I have the opportunity to see something like this, it will be interesting to see another time how the snail discharges its eggs and then, how each of these animals develop. And their color is so striking, because there are also pink eggs, as if to attract the attention of the viewers, like me, hahaha. How interesting it was to find this kind of water snail eggs, they encouraged me to investigate about them and to know this species of mollusks. Seeing up close these works of the Creator in nature, makes me appreciate his profound wisdom and fills me with gratitude for the wonderful things he has done to satisfy our curiosity and desire to learn. In the end, we will never be done learning from the fascinating and awesome nature.

I hope you liked this post about snail eggs. See you another time. Have a nice day.
