I guess someone might have to Google this because I'm not even sure when this became an official holiday here in Canada...
But today was 'Family Day' which is kind of this national holiday that appeared in our country recently.
It's supposed to be in between New Years and March break....I suppose!
Anyways, I took the opportunity today to have a nice little hike around town and my son and dog decided to join me ;)
This is a fantastic 2.6 km path way around a lake in Camrose, Alberta Canada. It's one of my favorite walking trails around this area of the province and it was such an awesome day today, we had to take advantage!
There's usually deers on the trail but we didn't see any this afternoon...However in typical Canadian fashion, the kids were out playing hockey and skating on the lake.
All in all, it was a fantastic afternoon with my kid!

Today in the US we were celebrating President's day. I would much rather celebrate family day! That does look like an awesome trail to walk on!

Yesterday we got to go into town and my oldest kid came by. Had lunch with all three of my sons. I love those moments.
These are the "good old days" moments we will look back on with fondness.
