How's your Wednesday, Hive friends? 🥰
Here is a quick catch-up on how my weekend went: I spent it grocery shopping with my sisters and cutie niece.
The newly opened Rustan's store - The Marketplace. 🛒 It had been a couple of months that we were looking forward to it.
A brief background is that there used to be a Rustan's grocer in Paseo Banawa. But because of the pandemic it got closed out of business.
After two years of the pandemic the Rustan's brand is back - but only in a different location in Banawa. The new one is better though since it's by the road. It is very accessible.
Don't you just love the vibe of a freshly opened store? Everything looks shiny and perfect. It is spotless. And the new place smell has got a ring to it, too.
There's lots of imported goods as well as proud produce of PH🇵🇭 Cuisines around the world are well-represented too - there's Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Mexican, Asutralian, American, Canadian, among others. 🗺️
After a good thirty minutes hurling around we checked out the counter. My sister Joycie bought some 'int'l' Aussie ice cream 🍦 for my sis Rica, niece Kendra and I. They were yummy non-GMO ones. 😋
I love the new market-place near our neighborhood. 🤍

Always impressed with the layouts of your supermarkets there. Picture 10 is the only familiarity i have (waitrose) as that's somewhere I visit fairly often.
The supermarkets in Cebu are pretty sleek, I'd say.
Waitrose is an international brand I reckon(?) Because that aisle has got imported goods.🛒 Thanks for your constant support, Elmer. Really appreciate it🤍
@jongcl I didn't know Waitrose expanded internationally actually but cool to see.
As always, you're welcome!
nice another convenience store that would cater our needs
Yesss definitely!! It's great seeing a booming economy after the pandemic🛒🥰
Take care😍😍
Thank you, friend!🫶
