Hello, Hivers! Rej here and I am finally back for another Rejourney. For today, I'm gonna take you with me to a wedding. Time just went by so fast for my close friends who now decided to tie the knot and enter the world of marriage. Meet the beautiful bride Ate Shellavy, and the handsome groom Kuya Frael. Ate Shellavy used to be my teammate for Table Tennis wayback in college. Back then during our practices, she also introduced to me Kuya Frael as his boyfriend. Kuya Frael is a seafarer so basically most of the time they are in a long distance relationship. But this doesn't stop them from making things work out for their relationship. After years of being together, Kuya Frael proposed to Ate Shellavy and they decided to tie the knot last March 2023. They've been boyfriend and girlfriend for 8-long years and then decided to settle down.
I'm so blessed to be invited by these couple. As someone who witnessed their ups and downs, I'm glad to be with them to celebrate the gift of love. They got married at the famous church here in Cebu, the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. It was filled with mixed emotions both for the couple and the guests who attended the wedding. After the exchange of vows and picture taking, we all went to the reception in Chateau de Busay in Cebu City, Philippines. That was filled with so much happiness. I'm happy to be reunited with some old friends from college and met new ones as well during the event. The wedding of Ate Shellavy and Kuya Frael is definitely something worth remembering.
Indeed, when someone is really meant for you, God will truly give it to you. Upon writing this, I didn't have a person with me that I would spend the rest of my life with yet, but I am a firm believer that God will give that someone to me on His perfect time. To my "The One that God Allowed," I will see you in God's perfect time.
That's it for today's Rejourney. I will see you all on my next one. Much love from your Inspiring Cebuana. Stay safe!
