Hello Hive :)

I hope you are feeling fabulous and are having a great time with whatever you are doing.

It's Friday and mid-December already, whew! Just a little over two weeks left for the year and we are going to welcome the new one. But because we are trying to live one day at a time, we are just going to enjoy today and the moments as they come :)

There was an adjoining shop by the restaurant where we had a quick bite last weekend. It was actually an extension to TNCH. SIt is a shop within a restaurant, kinda. The area probably serves as an additional space for their customers during the peak hours, judging from the table sets in the middle.

It was filled with lots of crafts from wood carvings, sculptures, animal and people figurines, frames, wicker bags, baskets, native rags and table runners, paintings, collectible items, bowls, jars, dream catchers, and many other things in various shapes and sizes. Most are intended for home or commercial space decorations.

I was mesmerized to see them there that I don't know which ones to take a look first. It felt I was in a museum of some sort when I entered the space. The kinds of stuff displayed are usually seen in shops along tourist spots but it was smart of them to put it up there because the restaurant caters to travelers both local and not.

The husband mentioned the shop wasn't there previously so they must have arranged all the stuff just a few days prior to our visit. Ifugao, Ibaloi towns and the Mountain Province are amongst the places where these crafts are usually made because these areas are known for these types of products and where talented craftsmen hail from. The figurines and other small ones specifically must have taken quite a lot of time and effort so I'm always impressed at the creativity of people who make things like those.

Did we buy anything from the shop? I wish we did. Unfortunately, we were quite in a rush so we sped away after having our quick meal. I'm a bit afraid though that had we stay a little longer, we may have bought a few stuff, lol! But glad the engineers we were to meet requested us to be early so it saved us from any impulse spending, lol!

This is all for today and will be sharing the other fun stuff next time! Thank you and Cheers!
