We celebrated my son's 10th birthday. He loves chocolate, and he usually chooses a chocolate cake.
I bought my a Shine Muscat Grape fruit cake for my second son. This cake was the most expensive cake I bought today.
I chose the pumpkin tart.

We celebrated our elder son's 10th birthday. We had Kentucky Fried Chicken for dinner, followed by cake. His Grandma sent him a gift of sneakers. He will soon have an endurance running record meet at school, so he will wear those sneakers and do his best.
We (I and my husband) haven't actually decided on a gift to my son from us yet. We have been asking him what he wants for several weeks, but he does not seem to want anything in particular. He said "Headphones...", "Manga...?", "Video games..." but I didn't buy those because it didn't seem to be what he really wanted. He also said that he wanted to go to Universal Studios Japan, but that seems to be a bit impossible.... I would like to buy something for him this weekend.
I have been cutting back on sweets for my health since the middle of this month. But today was my son's birthday, so I decided to have cake!

長男の10歳の誕生日を祝いました。晩ごはんはケンタッキー・フライド・チキンで、その後にケーキを食べました。ばあばからは、スニーカーのプレゼントが届きました。もうすぐ学校で持久走記録会があるので、そのスニーカーを履いて頑張るそうです。
私たちからのプレゼントは、実はまだ決まっていません。数週間前から長男に希望をきいていますが、特に欲しいものもないらしく、「ヘッドホン…」「マンガ？」「ゲーム…」などと言うもののコロコロ変わり、まだ買えていないのです。「ユニバーサルスタジオジャパンに行きたい」というのもありましたが、それはちょっと無理そうだし…。困りました。
私は11月の半ばから、甘いものを控えています。去年もこの時期甘いものをやめていて、その時は少し身体が楽になったおぼえがあります（結局年末に帰省した際、両親から勧められるままに甘いものを食べてしまって、その計画は失敗に終わってしまいましたが…）。今年も、11月に入りふっとやめられそうな気がしたのでお菓子断ちを始めたのです。でも長男の誕生日くらいはケーキを食べることにしました！

甘い物としょっぱいものが大好きです。ビールは簡単にやめられたのですが、チョコレートはいまだにやめられません。砂糖を控えたら絶対に体が楽になりますよねー。

砂糖を控えると身体が楽になるの不思議ですよね。メカニズムはよく分かっていませんが、今回もふっとやめられそうなタイミングがやってきたので挑戦してみることにしました。あまり厳格な砂糖断ちをすると食べられないものが増えるので、お菓子だけやめてます😁
Oh I just find somebody really love chocolate as me. That the recipe of chocolate cake is amazing. . . The texture is kind of soft and thick .
My son loves chocolate! I used to eat it a lot when I was younger, but after I turned 30, I can't eat it much anymore... haha🤣
