Days and more days. 🌺

Hello nice Tuesday, how is your day? Mine is not very good... the truth is that I have not felt in good health for days because I started taking a medication that I had stopped taking because this medication makes me want to sleep very much and makes my body feel disoriented and not I may feel this way because it is uncomfortable and because it is interfering with my work and I need to work... Yesterday I took these beautiful photos of my flowers, these flowers are in the front of my house and their colors definitely give a nice vibe, currently That's how I want to feel more, I feel very very exhausted... Obviously I stopped taking the medication because I need to have energy currently, I will consult with my neurologist to see what other medication he can give me.

What medication is it?

It's carbamazepine, it's an anticonvulsant. Let me explain a little, I have paroxysmal activity which generates electric shocks in my head that cause very intense migraines. A neurologist gave me that medication to control those electric shocks. I don't have seizures. If I had a seizure the dose was 400 mg, but since I don't have seizures my dose is 200 mg to control the problem. The truth is I have had this problem since 2012 and I have always published my progress on hive, I haven't done it in a while, I have tried different medications and this is the one that suited me best but the big problem is that it makes me druggy, I can't sleep control, blurred vision, dizziness and it is uncomfortable to be like this, but the bad thing is that I always have a headache, I have gotten used to it, but some days I am sad. 🤣 In my country we say: Laugh so as not to cry.

Thank you for telling me this. My mother seems to have a similar problem but she has been undiagnosed and is unable to find any treatment for her intense migraines. Your explanation has been really helpful and hopefully pointed my mum in the right direction so thank you!

@elmerlin It would be good if she were treated directly by a neurologist, but no one else. Headaches can be caused by thousands of things, but the main one is the neurologist. I arrived at my diagnosis by performing an MRI at the brain level and an electroencefalograma, which is what indicates the electrical activity of your head. If everything goes well there then visit another specialty such as a dentist, gynecologist, ophthalmologist, the idea is to rule out until you get to the problem, at least that's what happened to me. I hope your mom finds a solution soon.
