This might not be a popular opinion, but I don’t believe that you can heal yourself by simply going through the motions.
For years I went through the motions. I saw every doctor, I swallowed every pill, I sat through every protocol. I did it all in the name of healing myself and feeling better. From the outside in, I was doing everything by the book and for a while it would work. I would have a few good months here and there and be filled with hope.
Fast forward and I would be right back where I started. Still experiencing the same pain, maybe even worse and frustrated 10xs more than I was originally. Why? Because I had done everything right and it still wasn’t working.
Here’s the secret: unless you have a mindset and energetics upgrade along the way of your healing journey, you will forever be going through the emotions.
That is a fact.
I have seen it, I have experienced it, I know it to be true.
Here’s how this works: You can do all the right things, but if you don’t work on yourself mentally and make conscious shifts to your mental, emotional and energetic state, you will always be looking at yourself as someone who is sick, in pain, living with an illness or living at a deficit. What then happens when you do start to heal or begin feeling better is your that brain flips a switch and reverts back to its original wiring. You tell yourself the same narrative and suddenly you’re right back where you started.
I’m not saying that your pain isn’t real or that it’s all in your head! What I’m saying is that our brains and nervous systems are so powerful that unless we consciously retrain and rewire them while going through our healing journeys, they have the power to undo all of the good that has been done.
If you’ve been through this, you know it to be true. You are never the same person you started this journey as and that is a beautiful thing.
If my story sounds a lot like yours and you’re stuck trying to get out of the cycle of feeling good one minute and bad the next, check the link in bio for a free discovery call. I’d love to change the narrative together.
