Onboarding really is quite a challenge, we've been thinking of ways to break the bottleneck of hive account creation as once we open up the doors, we'd be spending a good deal of resources on outreach campaigns. It would be a shame if we have the demand but fail to meet it. I'm not sure a few thousand account claim tickets will suffice.

Just saw this post introducing DACTER to assist with account creation and wanted to share it with you, if you haven't already discovered it.

Does it seem like something that could resolve some of the onboarding concerns with Liketu?

Thank you for that, I had a quick peruse, it might be something we can use, although I get the feeling it is more a matter of handling trust when creating the accounts. Part of the reason I delegate to the liketu account instead of powering up the account is to let it claim the DACTs without leaving a significant amount of exposure of risk to it in the event of security leaks (though we don't actually have any system in place for using active keys for creating accounts yet)

It somewhat technical, but figured I’d share with you just in case.
This whole thing will be a process to figure out how to nail perfectly, that’s for sure.
