Titanus giganteus
The Titan Beetle can grow up to 17 cm. The male does not feed in the adult stage; it only drinks water. This is what I learned this time. Since my first encounter with this beautiful insect a few months ago, I have been eager to find out its species. Now, I am quite certain it is a Titanus giganteus, although its jaws are more prominent than what I saw on the internet about them. I love how a camera can capture the smallest and most amazing details of anything, including this fascinating animal. The largest ones can break a pencil with their jaws; that's how powerful they can become.

El Escarabajo Titán puede crecer hasta 17 cm. El macho no se alimenta en la etapa adulta; solo bebe agua. Esto es lo que aprendí esta vez.
