So the 18 pixels you got all came from Pixel Tasks?
yes.

You can only earn Pixels from tasks. You earn Pixels or Coin from tasks, but it is quite difficult to find Pixel tasks. You can earn Pixels without being a VIP member, but the VIP pool and the normal player pool are different and the VIP pool is larger. I earned 10 Pixel today :)
