India Leads in 2024 Global Crypto Adoption Index

Hello and Namaste Everyone,

The crypto market is a growing industry and it is expanding globally. Many companies are involved in this business and most of those exchanges are trying to have presents worldwide. Crypto exchanges are the companies trying to expand their business in many countries and some leading names we are well aware of. In every country, there are two types of exchanges: local and international. If I talk about India then a similar situation is also here and we have both types of exchanges operating in the country.

According to the global crypto market adoption index 2024, India has taken the lead again following the last year. India was on top last year in 2023 and once again it is on top this year as well. This is good news for the Indian Crypto community that they are doing good. I'm from India and I'm happy to see how the Indian community is doing in the Crypto market in terms of its adoption. I would be more than happy to see more people getting on board with crypto. I hope that this result of the global adoption index for this year will encourage more people to enter crypto. This is what we need and hopefully, more countries also join this. Having more people is good because it will bring more value to the crypto ecosystem.

This is news for today on different media handles and glad to see that India is still part of the conversation for some positive news. Most of the time India is in the news because of some negative news and some of the Times it is also from the government side. For example, the last one and half months have been mostly about the recent exchange hack and users are going through a hard time. Neither the exchange nor the government cares for the customers even though they know such a big amount has been stolen by the hackers. In Indian currency, the total amount is 2000 crore and it is such a big amount but the exchange is taking it lightly on the government has not even done any intervention.

This data has been published by chain analysis on different parameters and you can see the top six countries below table according to different criteria and how they are doing-

"India has also got a fairly widespread level of adoption across different assets of crypto despite restrictions, implying new participants to crypto would have been participating via services that were not banned," said Eric Jardine, research lead at Chainalysis.

I think that Indians surely deserve appreciation that despite all the challenges they are part of the crypto and still there is a growth trend if we look at the last two years' data. I am from India and I have been part of crypto for the last five years despite knowing that things are not easy and smooth.

I believe that most people are active in crypto because they believe that over some time, things will improve and that is when they will be happy with their start and journey in crypto. People are hopeful and they are expecting some positive stand by the government in the future but maybe it may take a couple of yearwhichat is hard to say as of now.

Thank you so much
