With the release of the Chaos Legion collection so many new cards have been added to the cards of the previous collections.

To date, 8023653 packs of Chaos Legion cards have been sold and just over half have been opened.

A number of 4077000 opened Chaos Legion packs corresponds to more than 20.3 million cards because each pack contains 5 cards.

This great influx of cards has produced a general lowering of the prices of Splinterlands cards and in particular has produced a lowering of the prices of Chaos Legion cards, which are the cards with the highest number of copies in circulation.
Chaos Legion cards are priced much lower than the prices of cards from previous collections.

The current average price of Chaos Legion cards is an opportunity to increase the strength in battle of my collection of cards but it is especially an opportunity for new players who have the opportunity to build a very competitive collection of cards investing relatively little especially if you compare with the battle statistics and the price of summoner cards and monster cards of Alpha and Beta collections.

In fact some Chaos Legion cards are cheap alternatives to cards from previous collections that have similar stats.
To show the truth and evidence of the concept I just wrote I will make a practical example comparing two cards that have very similar battle statistics: Flesh Golem and Pecalor Mercenary.

Flesh Golem is a card from the Alpha and Beta collection while Pecalor Mercenary is a card from the Chaos Legion Reward collection that can currently only be found inside chests.

The two cards have very similar statistics but have very different prices.
Between level 4 Flesh Golem and level 6 Pelacor Mercenary the differences are:

• number of mana: 6 vs 7
• armor points: 0 vs 1
• skill number: 1 vs 2

Level 4 Flesh Golem of the Alpha edition costs $225.98.
Flesh Golem level 4 Beta edition costs 55.00$.
Pecalor Mercenary level 6 costs only 2.90$ and also has a higher Power score.

I gave this example also to show how new players have the chance to buy useful cards in battle at very affordable prices and have the chance to be competitive and play on par against some cards of previous collections.

I bought 747 packs of Chaos Legion cards during the first day of the General Sale and later also found a few packs of cards in the daily and seasonal rewards chests.

Thanks to the Chaos Legion card packs I opened, my card collection became more competitive and I even passed a Power score of 500000 points.

With a Power score above 500000 points, I unlocked the first requirement to enter the Champion leagues of Splinterlands.
To return at least in the Champion III league is a goal that I would like to achieve in the short term but the battle strength of my card collection does not allow me yet and in fact last season I stopped in the Diamond II league with a rating score of 3125 points.

To return to the leagues Champion from which I miss a long time I need to optimize my collection of cards and to do so I must:

• buying cards that are useful in battle
• sell the cards that are not very useful in battle and / or that I never use in battle
• sell the cards that are objectively useful in battle but only at a certain level and that I'm not going to upgrade

In my previous post I showed how I do the activity of optimizing my card collection and I also showed the great usefulness of the Peakmonsters site (https://peakmonsters.com/) that makes it easy for me to choose cards to buy and sell.

Today I want to continue to share my optimization activity by showing the cards I decided to sell, the cards I decided to buy, the reasons for my choices and the buying method I decided to use.

Sales Objective

Five days ago I decided to put up for sale a legendary card from Dice collection: Epona level 1.

Epona is a useful card in battle because it has a cost in week of only 1 point and has a good ability already starting at level 1: Strengthen

It becomes very useful in battle when it reaches level 4 because it acquires a total of 4 abilities: Strengthen, Divine Shield, Immunity, Repair.

I have decided to put level 1 Epona up for sale for the following reasons:

• Epona level 1 has a very high market price ($196) and selling it would allow me to have capital to invest in buying more cards.
  This market price is mainly due to the number of cards in circulation that are very few: 751
  
• If I consider only the battle stats there are many cards that have a better battle utility/price ratio.
• Taking Epona from level 1 to level 4 would cost me $2167.69
  

When putting it up for sale I chose to sell Epona at the lowest price on the market per single card.

Today, after five days, I sold level 1 Epona and got 71006,588 DEC tokens.

Today March 24, 2022 the value of 1 DEC token is:

• 0.00258561 HIVE = $0.0025351 (Lowest Ask).
• 0.00255442 HIVE = 0.0025034$ (Highest Bid)

From the sale of Epona level 1 I have therefore obtained a net value of $173.85.

I then have 173.85$ to reinvest in the purchase of cards with the objective of increasing the battle strength of my card collection.

Purchase goals

My optimization activity is proceeding on two tracks:

• optimization of the group of cards of the editions Alpha, Beta, Orb and Promo.
• optimization of the group of cards of the editions Untamed, Dice and Chaos Legion.

I have chosen to proceed on two tracks because in the future it will be possible to choose between two modes of ranked battles, Old Format and New Format, and I want to have the future possibility to choose between the two formats and for this reason I do not want to weaken a group of cards at the expense of the other.

For this reason when I sell a card from the Dice collection like Epona I will only buy cards from the Untamed, Dice and Chaos Legion editions.

Upgrade legendary cards

With the earnings I got from the sale of Epona I decided to upgrade the legendary cards in my possession to make them acquire new abilities and better game stats.

The first legendary card that I decided to upgrade is Chaos Dragon.

Chaos Dragon is a card from the Chaos Legion edition that has great battle stats:

• 3 magic attack points
• 4 armor points
• 10 life points
• 2 abilities already starting at level 1

Chaos Dragon has only one disadvantage: it costs 14 mana points.

Due to the very high mana cost Chaos Dragon can be used profitably when the game battles have a lot of mana available.

Chaos Dragon at level 2 becomes much more useful in battle because it acquires the Blast ability that allows Chaos Dragon to attack up to 3 cards at once.

I have 2 level 1 Chaos Dragon cards in my card collection and I need a card to boost Chaos Dragon to level 2 (combination of 3 level 1 cards).

I decided to buy 1 level 1 Chaos Dragon card right away and for the purchase I chose to use the Monstermarketreturns to the buyer 3% of the value of the purchased card in DEC tokens. site (https://monstermarket.io/) which is a great option when you want to buy a card right away because it

As you can see from the data in the following image I spent 4043,222 DEC tokens.

And I received 118.88 DEC tokens from Monstermarket.

First purchase goal completed!

As my second upgrade and purchase goal, I chose the Baakjira card.

Baakjira is a legendary card from the water element and belongs to the Chaos Legion edition.
Baakjira is a card that I really like but only from level 3 which in my opinion is the level that has the best utility/cost ratio.

I have 5 level 1 cards in my card collection, so to get Baakjira to level 3 I only need to buy one card.

Also in this case I decided to buy immediately the card that I need to make the upgrade and I used the site of Monstermarket.

I spent 4731,170 tokens DEC

I received 141,935 DEC tokens as a purchase bonus.

My third enhancement goal is Uriel The Purifier.

Uriel The Purifier at level 1 is not a card I particularly like and in fact I have used it a few times in battle also because of its high mana cost (11).
Starting from level 2 it becomes more interesting and useful because it acquires the Heal ability.
Since I already have two level 1 cards in my card collection I decided to buy a third one to bring Uriel The Purifier from level 1 to level 2.

Again, I chose to buy the card I needed right away and used the Monstermarket site.

I spent 4132,578 DEC tokens and received 123,977 DEC tokens as a purchase bonus.

Upgrade of a cheap but very useful card in battle

There are many cards in the Chaos Legion card collection that have very low market prices but have very strong battle stats.

One of the cards that I really like and has a very low cost in relation to its battle stats is Chaos Knight.

I already have level 5 Chaos Knight in my card collection but I'd like to upgrade her to level 9 which is the result of combining 300 level 1 cards.

I particularly like this card because under certain battle rules it would become very useful and allow me to increase the attack points of cards I use often in battle.

For example, when the battle rule is UP Close & Personal level 9 Chaos Knight would become my first choice when paired with my level 6 Daria Dragonscale summoner and other cards I use often in the same circumstance.

To bring Chaos Knight to level 9 I need 211 level 1 cards because I already have a total of 89 BCX (1 Chaos Knight level 5 and 30 Chaos Knight level 1) in my collection.

For the purchase I chose Monstermarket again and purchased 271 BCX so I can have:

• 1 Chaos Knight of level 9 to use in battle.
• 1 Chaos Knight of level 5 to delegate or rent.

I spent a total of 7674,150 DEC.

I received a purchase bonus of 230,224 tokens DEC.

So doing some math:

• from the sale of Epona I have gained 71006.588 token DEC
• from my purchase operations I spent a total of 19966.084 token DEC.

I still have 51040,504 DEC tokens available to purchase cards and increase the battle strength of my card collection.

I have already identified my next purchases but my post today has already reached such a length that if I continue I will exceed the maximum number of words allowed on Hive so I will stop here.

I sold a single card I wasn't using in battle to buy and upgrade cards I will use in battle and that was my goal.

The purchases I made and shared in this post most likely won't be enough to get back to playing in Splinterlands Champion leagues but I have definitely taken a step towards my goal.

Con il rilascio della collezione Chaos Legion tante nuove carte sono state aggiunte alle carte delle collezioni precedenti.

Fino ad oggi sono stati venduti 8023653 pacchi di carte Chaos Legion e poco più della metà sono stati aperti.

Ad un numero di 4077000 pacchi Chaos Legion aperti corrispondono più di 20,3 milioni di carte perchè ogni pacco contiene 5 carte.

Questo grande afflusso di carte ha prodotto un abbassamento generale dei prezzi delle carte di Splinterlands e in particolare ha prodotto un abbassamento dei prezzi delle carte Chaos Legion che sono le carte con il maggior numero di esemplari in circolazione.
Le carte Chaos Legion hanno prezzi molto più bassi rispetto ai prezzi delle carte delle collezioni precedenti.

Il prezzo medio attuale delle carte Chaos Legion è un occasione per aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte ma è sopratutto un occasione per i nuovi giocatori che hanno la possibilità di costruirsi una collezione di carte molto competitiva investendo relativamente poco soprattutto se si fa il confronto con le statistiche di battaglia e il prezzo delle carte evocatore e le carte mostro delle collezioni Alpha e Beta.

Infatti alcune carte Chaos Legion sono alternative economiche a carte delle collezioni precedenti che hanno statistiche simili.
Per mostrare la veridicità e l'evidenza del concetto che ho appena scritto farò un esempio pratico confrontando due carte che hanno statistiche di battaglia molto simili: Flesh Golem e Pecalor Mercenary.

Flesh Golem è una carta della collezione Alpha e Beta mentre Pecalor Mercenary è una carta della collezione Chaos Legion Reward che è possibile trovare attualmente solo all'interno dei forzieri.

Le due carte hanno statistiche molto simili ma hanno prezzi molto diversi.
Tra Flesh Golem di livello 4 e Pelacor Mercenary di livello 6 le differenze sono:

• numero di mana: 6 vs 7
• punti armatura: 0 vs 1
• numero abilità: 1 vs 2

Flesh Golem di livello 4 dell'edizione Alpha costa 225.98$
Flesh Golem di livello 4 dell'edizione Beta costa 55.00$
Pecalor Mercenary di livello 6 costa solo 2.90$ ed ha anche un punteggio Power maggiore.

Ho fatto questo esempio anche per mostrare come i nuovi giocatori hanno la possibilità di comprare carte utili in battaglia a prezzi decisamente abbordabili e hanno la possibilità di essere competitivi e giocare alla pari contro alcune carte delle collezioni precedenti.

Io ho comprato 747 pacchi di carte Chaos Legion durante il primo giorno della General Sale e in seguito ho anche trovato alcuni pacchi di carte nei forzieri delle ricompense giornaliere e stagionali.

Grazie ai pacchi di carte Chaos Legion che ho aperto la mia collezione di carte è diventata più competitiva e ho anche superato un punteggio Power di 500000 punti.

Con un punteggio Power superiore a 500000 punti ho sbloccato il primo requisito per accedere alle leghe Champion di Splinterlands.
Tornare almeno nella lega Champion III è un obiettivo che vorrei raggiungere nel breve periodo ma la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte non me lo permette ancora e infatti nella scorsa stagione mi sono fermato in lega Diamond II con un punteggio di rating di 3125 punti.

Per ritornare nelle leghe Champion da cui manco da molto tempo ho bisogno di ottimizzare la mia collezione di carte e per farlo devo:

• vendere le carte che sono poco utili in battaglia e/o che non utilizzo mai in battaglia
• vendere le carte che sono oggettivamente utili in battaglia ma solo ad un determinato livello e che non ho intenzione di potenziare
• acquistare carte che sono utili in battaglia

Nel mio precedente post ho mostrato come svolgo l'attività di ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte e ho mostrato anche la grande utilità del sito Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/) che mi facilità la scelta delle carte da acquistare e da vendere.

Oggi voglio continuare a condividere la mia attività di ottimizzazione mostrando le carte che ho deciso di vendere, le carte che ho deciso di acquistare, le motivazioni delle mie scelte e il metodo di acquisto che ho deciso di utilizzare.

Obiettivo di Vendita

Cinque giorni fa ho deciso di mettere in vendita una carta leggendaria della collezione Dice: Epona di livello 1.

Epona è una carta utile in battaglia perchè ha un costo in mana di solo 1 punto e ha un'utile abilità già a partire dal livello 1: Strengthen

Diventa molto utile in battaglia quando raggiunge il livello 4 perchè acquisisce in totale 4 abilità: Strengthen, Divine Shield, Immunity, Repair.

Ho deciso di mettere in vendita Epona di livello 1 per i seguenti motivi:

• Epona di livello 1 ha un prezzo di mercato molto alto (196$) e venderla mi permetterebbe di avere un capitale da investire nell'acquisto di un numero maggiore di carte.
  Questo prezzo di mercato è dovuto principalmente al numero di carte in circolazione che sono davvero poche: 751
  
• Se considero solo le statistiche di battaglia ci sono tante carte che hanno un rapporto utilità in battaglia/prezzo migliore.
• Portare Epona di livello 1 al livello 4 mi costerebbe 2167.69$
  

Al momento della messa in vendita ho scelto di vendere Epona al prezzo più basso sul mercato per singola carta.

Oggi, dopo cinque giorni, ho venduto Epona di livello 1 e ho ottenuto 71006.588 token DEC.

Oggi 24 marzo 2022 il valore di 1 token DEC è di:

• 0.00258561 HIVE = 0.0025351$ (Lowest Ask)
• 0.00255442 HIVE = 0.0025034$ (Highest Bid)

Dalla vendita di Epona di livello 1 ho quindi ottenuto un valore netto di 173.85$.

Ho quindi 173.85$ da reinvestire nell'acquisto di carte con l'obiettivo di aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte.

Obiettivi di acquisto

La mia attività di ottimizzazione procede su due binari:

• ottimizzazione del gruppo di carte delle edizioni Alpha, Beta, Orb e Promo
• ottimizzazione del gruppo di carte delle edizioni Untamed, Dice e Chaos Legion

Ho scelto di procedere su due binari perchè in futuro sarà possibile scegliere tra due modalità di battaglie classificate, Old Format e New Format, e voglio avere la possibilità futura di scegliere tra le due modilità e per questo non voglio indebolire un gruppo di carte a discapito dell'altro.

Per questo motivo quando vendo una carta della collezione Dice come Epona acquisterò solo carte delle edizioni Untamed, Dice e Chaos Legion.

Upgrade delle carte leggendarie

Con il ricavato che ho ottenuto dalla vendita di Epona ho deciso di potenziare le carte leggendarie in mio possesso per farle acquisire nuove abilità e migliori statistiche di gioco.

La prima carta leggendaria che ho deciso di potenziare è Chaos Dragon.

Chaos Dragon è una carta dell'edizione Chaos Legion che ha delle ottime statistiche di battaglia:

• 3 punti di attacco magico
• 4 punti armatura
• 10 punti vita
• 2 abilità già a partire dal livello 1

Chaos Dragon ha un solo difetto: costa 14 punti di mana.

Dato il costo in mana molto alto Chaos Dragon può essere utilizzata con profitto quando le battaglie di gioco hanno molti mana a disposizione.

Chaos Dragon di livello 2 diventa molto più utile in battaglia perchè acquisisce l'abilità Blast che permette a Chaos Dragon di attaccare fino a 3 carte contemporaneamente.

Nella mia collezione di carte ho 2 carte Chaos Dragon di livello 1 e mi serve una carta per potenziare Chaos Dragon al livello 2 (combinazione di 3 carte di livello 1).

Ho deciso di acquistare subito 1 carta Chaos Dragon di livello 1 e per l'acquisto ho scelto di utilizzare il sito di Monstermarketrestituisce all'acquirente il 3% del valore della carta acquistata in token DEC. (https://monstermarket.io/) che è un'ottima opzione quando si vuole acquistare una carta subito perchè

Come puoi vedere dai dati presenti nell'immagine seguente ho speso 4043.222 token DEC.

E ho ricevuto da Monstermarket 118.88 token DEC.

Primo obiettivo di acquisto completato!

Come secondo obiettivo di potenziamento e di acquisto ho scelto la carta Baakjira.

Baakjira è una carta leggendaria dell'emento acqua e appartiene all'edizione Chaos Legion.
Baakjira è una carta che mi piace molto ma solo a partire dal livello 3 che secondo me è il livello che ha il miglior rapporto utilità/costo.

Nella mia collezione di carte ho 5 carte di livello 1 e quindi per far raggiungere a Baakjira il livello 3 ho bisogno di acquistare una sola carta.

Anche in questo caso ho deciso di acquistare subito la carta che mi manca per effettuare il potenziamento ed ho utilizzato per l'acquisto il sito di Monstermarket.

Ho speso 4731.170 token DEC

Ho ricevuto come premio di acquisto 141.935 token DEC

Il mio terzo obiettivo di potenziamento è Uriel The Purifier.

Uriel The Purifier di livello 1 non è una carta che mi piace particolarmente e infatti l'ho utilizzata poche volte in battaglia anche a causa del suo alto costo in mana (11).
A partire dal livello 2 diventa più interessante e utile perchè acquisisce l'abilità Heal.
Poichè ho già due carte di livello 1 nella mia collezione di carte ho deciso di comprarne una terza per portare Uriel The Purifier dal livello 1 al livello 2.

Anche in questo caso ho scelto di comprare subito la carta che mi serve e ho utilizzato il sito di Monstermarket.

Ho speso 4132.578 token DEC e ho ricevuto come premio di acquisto 123.977 token DEC

Upgrade di una carta economica ma molto utile in battaglia

Nella collezione di carte Chaos Legion ci sono molte carte che hanno prezzi di mercato molto bassi ma hanno statistiche di battaglia molto forti.

Una delle carte che mi piace molto e che ha un costo molto basso in relazione alle sue statistiche di battaglia è Chaos Knight.

Ho già Chaos Knight di livello 5 nella mia collezione di carte ma mi piacerebbe potenziarla al livello 9 che è il risultato della combinazione di 300 carte di livello 1.

Mi piace particolarmente questa carta perchè in presenza di determinate regole di battaglia diventerebbe molto utile e mi permetterebbe di aumentare i punti di attacco di carte che uso spesso in battaglia.

Ad esempio quando la regola di battaglia è UP Close & Personal Chaos Knight di livello 9 diventerebbe una mia prima scelta se abbinata al mio evocatore Daria Dragonscale di livello 6 e ad altre carte che uso spesso nella stessa circostanza.

Per portare Chaos Knight al livello 9 ho bisogno di 211 carte di livello 1 perchè ho già un totale di 89 BCX (1 Chaos Knight di livello 5 e 30 Chaos Knight di livello 1) nella mia collezione.

Per l'acquisto ho scelto nuovamente Monstermarket e ho acquistato 271 BCX così potrò avere:

• 1 Chaos Knight di livello 9 da utilizzare in battaglia.
• 1 Chaos Knight di livello 5 da delegare o da noleggiare.

Ho speso in totale 7674.150 DEC.

Ho ricevuto un premio di acquisto di 230.224 token DEC

Quindi facendo un pò di calcoli:

• dalla vendita di Epona ho guadagnato 71006.588 token DEC
• dalle mie operazioni di acquisto ho speso in totale 19966.084 token DEC

Ho ancora a disposizione 51040.504 token DEC per acquistare carte e aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte.

Ho già individuato i miei prossimi acquisti ma il mio post odierno ha già raggiunto una lunghezza tale che se continuo supererò il numero di parole massimo consentito su Hive e per questo mi fermo qui.

Ho venduto una singola carta che non usavo in battaglia per acquistare e potenziare delle carte che userò in battaglia e questo era il mio obiettivo.

Gli acquisti che ho effettuato e che ho condiviso in questo post con molta probabilità non saranno sufficienti per tornare a giocare nelle leghe Champion di Splinterlands ma ho sicuramente fatto un passo in avanti verso il mio obiettivo.
