5 TIPS for BRO BANG New Players
+ My Results and Rewards in Events Number 8
Blockchain-based games are one of my passions and I have a natural preference for Hive games because Hive is my favorite blockchain project.
I play more than 10 Hive games and yesterday I added a new game to my list, Moon Karts for which I published a post just yesterday and which you can read from this link: Moon Karts Alpha is Live! 25 CENTAURI Packs Opened + My First Race in Single Player Mode with my Legendary Kart! (ENG/ITA)
Today I share my gaming experience and progress on BRO BANG which is a Hive based browser arcade game in which the player has to hit pins with a hammer that go out and back in from the 13 holes on the game board.
Brobang is a game I like, and even though I almost always have little free time on my hands I try to play at least two games during the events Brobang holds each week.
I was very pleased to see that my friend @mad-runner started playing last week and right after reading a post of mine.
In the CCD Event Mad-runner achieved a score of 27 points, which although it is a relatively low score allowed him to place 10th in the CCD Event ranking.
Today I decided to write this post containing 5 tips to follow on BRO BANG with the goal of being useful to new players like @mad-runner to help them get higher scores on BRO BANG.
First Tip:
Play the game in free-to-play mode before participating in events
The first advice I give to mad-runner but also to all new players is to try the game in Free to play mode before participating in events.
I give this advice because playing on BroBang by participating in events has a cost of:
- 100 CCD tokens (1 game) or 1000 CCD tokens (unlimited games during an event) for the CCD Event
- 0.08 LGN (1 game) or 0.8 LGN tokens (unlimited games during an event) for the LGN Event
For example based on the ranking of CCD Event #8, last week to earn a profit it was necessary to:
- total at least 27 points with a single match (cost 100 CCD) to have a profit of 75.98 CCD (prize value - single match cost)
- total at least 1145 points with a 1000 CCD expenditure (unlimited matches during the event) to have a profit of 110.49 CCD (prize value - unlimited matches cost)
Second Tip:
Two Hammers are better than one
The second tip is to play with two hammers instead of one!
My game strategy related to the choice of hammers on BROBANG is to play with the hammer found on the game board and the baseball bat found in the shop.

Using two hammers instead of one is an important choice to make on Brobang because with two hammers:
- it is easier to make higher scores (each hammer has different characteristics and consequently has different utilities in the game)
- in case you hit the wrong pin (BRO pin) it is easier to defeat zombies because you can hit them with two hammers at the same time.
In my previous post I showed in detail the steps to perform to select two hammers before the start of the game.
Third Tip:
Count the times you hit the pins and concentrate in the Waves!
The third tip is to count the times you make a hit with the hammers (always count 1 for a hit where you hit 1 single Coin pin and 1 for a hit where you hit multiple Coin pins at once).
It is important to count the hits given with the hammers because after every 10 hits in which the player has hit at least 1 pin the wave arrives = the scoreboard fills up with pins but they go down very quickly.
Whenever you don't hit at least 1 pin during 1 wave the bar placed on the right decreases by 1/5 and on the fifth missed hit during a wave the game ends = Game Over.
Fourth Tip:
Play in full screen mode.
The fourth tip is to play full screen because this increases the visual space available to you and also the space in which to hit the pins and consequently decreases the probability of making a mistake!
Fifth Tip:
Use special hits!
The fifth tip is to use special hits.
For example if you use the baseball bat with the A or D key combination when there are multiple pins on the game board you can hit with a single hit several pins at once.
For example, in the screenshot below you can see a situation where using the baseball bat + D allowed me to hit with a single hit 4 of the 5 pins present on the game board.
I hit the top left pin and ulitized the baseball bat + D (right-click mouse + D).
In this way I hit with one blow the 4 pins I highlighted in the next image.
If there are more pins on the game board but there are also BRO pins wait for the BRO pins to come back down before using the baseball bat + D or + A.
My Achievements and Rewards in events #8.
I will end this post by sharing my game results and rewards in the last two events that ended on Sunday.
In the current events I have not played yet and have time to play until Sunday.
In the #8 events I only played two games because I had little free time:
- 1 game in the CCD EVENT
- 1 game in the LGN EVENT
n the CCD Event number 8 I finished in fourth place in the ranking with a scores = 3503.
To participate in the CCD Event, I spent 100 CCD and received a prize of 2117.30 CCD.
In LGN Event number 8 I arrived in fourth place in the ranking with a scores = 3204
To participate in the LGN Event I spent 0.08 LGN and received a prize of 2.55 LGN
In events #8 @teooo and @lorddiablo reconfirmed themselves as the two top players on Bro Bang because they occupied first and second place in both events.
In the current events I will try to improve my playing results and my short-term playing goal is to finish at least third in both events.

Oggi condivido la mia esperienza di gioco e i miei progressi su BRO BANG che è un Hive based browser arcade game divertente in cui il giocatore deve colpire con un martello dei pins che escono e rientrano dai 13 fori presenti su un pannello di gioco.
Brobang è un gioco che mi piace e anche se ho quasi sempre poco tempo libero a disposizione cerco di giocare almeno due partite durante gli eventi che Brobang organizza ogni settimana.
Mi ha fatto molto piacere vedere che il mio amico @mad-runner ha iniziato a giocare la settimana scorsa e proprio dopo aver letto un mio post.
Nel CCD Event Mad-runner ha ottenuto un punteggio di 27 punti che anche se è un punteggio relativamente basso gli ha permesso di posizionarsi al 10 posto della classifica del CCD Event.
Oggi ho deciso di scrivere questo post che contiene 5 consigli da seguire su BRO BANG con l'obiettivo di essere utile ai nuovi giocatori come @mad-runner per aiutarli ad ottenere dei punteggi più alti su BRO BANG.
Primo Consiglio:
Prova il gioco in modalità Free to play prima di partecipare agli eventi
Il primo consiglio che dò a mad-runner ma anche a tutti i nuovi giocatori è di provare il gioco in modalità Free to play prima di partecipare agli eventi.
Dò questo consiglio perchè giocare su BroBang partecipando agli eventi ha un costo di:
- 100 CCD token (1 partita) o 1000 CCD token (partite illimitate durante un evento) per il CCD Event
- 0.08 LGN (1 partita) o 0.8 LGN token (partite illimitate durante un evento) per il LGN Event
Ad esempio in base alla classifica del CCD Event numero 8, la scorsa settimana per guadagnare un profitto era necessario:
- totalizzare almeno 27 punti con una singola partita (costo 100 CCD) per avere un profitto di 75.98 CCD (valore premio - costo singola partita)
- totalizzare almeno 1145 punti con una spesa di 1000 CCD (partite illimitate durante l'evento) per avere un profitto di 110.49 CCD (valore premio - costo partite illimitate)
Secondo Consiglio:
Due Hammers sono meglio di uno
Il secondo consiglio è di giocare con due hammers invece di uno!
La mia strategia di gioco relativa alla scelta degli hammers su BROBANG è di giocare con il martello che si trova sul tabellone di gioco e con la mazza da baseball che si trova nello shop.

Utilizzare due hammers invece di uno è una scelta importante da fare su Brobang perchè con due hammers:
- è più facile fare punteggi più alti (ogni hammer ha caratteristiche diverse e di conseguenza ha utilità diverse nel gioco)
- nel caso si colpisce il pin sbagliato (Not Bro pin) è più facile sconfiggere gli zombies perchè puoi colpirli con due hammers contemporaneamente.
Nel mio precedente post ho mostrato in dettaglio i passi da effettuare per selezionare due hammers prima dell'inizio della partita.
Terzo Consiglio:
Conta le volte che colpisci i pin e concentrati nei Waves!
Il terzo consiglio è di contare le volte che effettui un colpo con gli hammers (conta sempre 1 per un colpo in cui colpisci 1 singolo pin e 1 per un colpo in cui colpisci più pins contemporaneamente).
E' importante contare i colpi dati con gli hammers perchè dopo ogni 10 colpi in cui il giocatore ha colpito almeno 1 pin arriva il wave = il tabellone si riempe di pin che però scendono molto velocemente.
Ogni volta che non colpisci almeno 1 pin durante 1 wave la barra posizionata sulla destra diminuisce di 1/5 e al quinto colpo mancato durante un wave la partita termina = Game Over.
Quarto Consiglio:
Gioca a schermo intero
Il quarto consiglio è di giocare a schermo intero perchè in questo modo aumenti lo spazio visivo a tua disposizione e anche lo spazio in cui colpire i pin e di conseguenza diminuisce la probabilità di fare un errore!
Quinto Consiglio:
Utilizza i colpi speciali!
Il quinto consiglio è di utilizzare i colpi speciali.
Ad esempio se utilizzi la mazza da baseball con la cobinazione di tasti A o D quando ci sono più pin sul tabellone puoi colpire con un singolo colpo più pin contemporaneamente.
Ad esempio nella schermata seguente puoi vedere una situazione in cui utilizzare la mazza da baseball + D mi ha permesso di colpire con un solo colpo 4 dei 5 pins presenti sul tabellone di gioco.
Ho colpito il pin in alto a sinistra e ho ulitizzato la mazza da baseball + D (click tasto destro mouse + D).
In questo modo ho colpito con un solo colpo i 4 pin che ho evidenziato nella prossima immagine.
Se sul tabellone di gioco ci sono più pin ma ci sono anche i BRO pins aspetta che i BRO pins tornino giù prima di utilizzare la mazza da baseball + D o + A.
My Game Activity and My Results and Rewards in Events Number 8
I Mie Risultati e le Mie Ricompense negli eventi numero 8
Concludo questo post condividendo i miei risultati di gioco e le ricompense che ho ottenuto negli ultimi due eventi che sono terminati domenica.
Negli eventi in corso non ho ancora giocato e ho tempo per giocare fino a domenica.
Negli eventi numero 8 ho giocato solo due partite perchè ho avuto poco tempo libero:
- 1 partita nel CCD EVENT
- 1 partita nel LGN EVENT
Nel CCD Event numero 8 sono arrivato al quarto posto in classifica con un punteggio = 3503.
Per partecipare al CCD Event ho speso 100 CCD e ho ricevuto un premio di 2117.30 CCD
Nel LGN Event numero 8 sono arrivato al quarto posto in classifica con un punteggio = 3204
Per partecipare al LGN Event ho speso 0.08 LGN e ho ricevuto un premio di 2.555 LGN
Negli eventi numero 8 @teooo e @lorddiablo si sono riconfermati i due top players su Bro Bang perchè hanno occupato in entrambi gli eventi il primo e il secondo posto.
Negli eventi in corso cercherò di migliorare i miei risultati di gioco e il mio obiettivo di gioco di breve termine è arrivare almeno al terzo posto in entrambi gli eventi.
