The final "end of the season" for 2024 ranked battles concluded yesterday, December 30th. So I finished in Gold One for the first time in over two months, and it was due to a strong finish near the end of season.
I went on a great winning streak three days before the end of the season and accumulated some SPS as well. It is safe to say that I finished very well, which was great for my campaign.
I started slowly, losing a lot of games, and was not sure if I would be able to meet my 45k Glint goal for the season, but the second half of the season was favourable, and I finished with 47k, which was excellent.
The first target was 40k, followed by 45k, and I met all of them and broke even.
I believe this is because my soulbound cards are improving. Despite competing against some high-quality decks and summoners.
At maximum level, I have been able to compete with the external Tofu and other top summoners. I have won and lost on occasion, but this season was the most successful I have had in quite some time.
I have not altered my Glint purchasing habits. I buy four epic cards, then about 130 common cards, then about 55 rares, and then use the remaining glints to go for merits, and there is no room for a legendary for 35k Glint.
I'm mostly sharing the epic cards. Some of my common cards have reached level 6, while some of my rare cards are at level 4. I do not have any Legendaries yet, and I am not sure I regret it.
I am mostly satisfied with my shopping strategy, except when I start earning more glints.
I got four epic cards and this time I've not gotten any cards to upgrade. 80% of my epic cards are now at level two, and the next step is to target level three. For the time being, my most frequently used epic card is Olivia.
6/10 wins and performance for me. Olivia has put on a dominant display whenever I have won. Copying all of my opponents' abilities and causing significant damage to them.
I got about 8 gladius cases with the merits I bought/earned. This amounted to around 40 cards, but I only showed the first six, which contained about 30 cards.
Despite purchasing the stone from the Brawl shop to increase my chances of getting a legendary, I only received about ten rare cards and one epic, with no Legendaries.
Talking about Guild.
I have been able to accumulate a decent amount of merit thanks to my new Guild; as a result of the Guild, I now get about 3 Gladius cases per week on average, which was not previously possible.
The Guild allows me to open a decent number of Gladius cases. There are some good cards here, but everything I have or got is a card I already own. There are no new additions whatsoever.
For my Guild, we finished third in our fray. And here are the results. It was challenging to compete this time.
The other Guild brought their A-game, and it was fiercely competitive. It would have been preferable to finish second or first, but we did so a few weeks ago and have not been as fortunate this time around. However, we get around 38 SPS, which is still adequate.

That's interesting. Since the season as ended, then I will have to wait to join next season. I have bought the spell book. I don't know much about the game though.
Well, it's a lot of trial and error, and it might take a few months to finally understand how to play.

Nice job. Getting over 40k Glint is quite amazing. I didn't do so great but I didn't play as many matches as I would like. Everyone has a different strategy and I don't think its wrong to focus on epic cards.
