Opening 50 Major Chests in Splinterlands

Today is one of those good times in Splinterlands because it's Loot Chests opening day. As I mentioned in other posts, I have the goal of opening 300 Minor Chests, 150 Major Chests and 30 Ultimate Chests each season and the reason I choose Loot Chests and not Rarity Draws is because I find it more fun to open Loot Chests since in addition to getting cards, I can also gain energy to battle more often in the season and increase my earnings and also because I have the chance to get jackpots.

So far I have opened thousands of Loot Chests since I started playing Splinterlands, but I haven't been lucky enough to get any jackpots so I hope that this year I will have more luck and be able to get several on my journey in this incredible NFT game.

At the beginning of this season I opened 30 Ultimate Chests and I was unlucky with both the energy gain and the jackpot win, so I still have 300 Minor Chests and 150 Major Chests left to open this season. Today I will open Major Chests because the chance of winning energy and jackpot are higher and what I need most now this season is to increase my number of ranked battles in the season so that I don't end up at a loss since I have costs with the Battle Pass, SPS Rental and Card Rental. Major Chests also give me more Soulbounds cards and this means more progress for my Soulbounds card collection.

I currently have 81,006 Glint, but I won't use all of the Glint to buy Major Chests because I don't want to have a very high energy gain now, I want to save some Loot Chests for when the season is close to ending because my win rate is higher at the end of the season, so today I will only open 50 Major Chests.

I have the option to buy more Ultimate Chests but their value is 50% higher because I already opened the first batch of 30 Ultimate Chests, so it's not worth spending much more Glint to open more considering my current Glint gain per season.

Each Major Chest costs 1,000 Glint, so opening 50 of them will cost me 50,000 Glint.

My luck with jackpots remains the same and as always I didn't win any, but what really disappointed me was my luck with getting energy since in the 30 Ultimate Chests I opened previously and in these 50 Major Chests, my energy gain was very small and this is bad news for my SPS and Glint gains this season.

In these 50 Major Chests I only gained 6 energy, I hope that in the next Loot Chests I will have more luck and be able to make up for this bad luck because a good part of my profit in the season depends on the energy I gain from Loot Chests, but despite having bad luck with jackpots and energy, I was lucky with the Soulbounds cards and the ones I won will be a great help for my collection.
