My journey in Splinterlands is going well and today I had a good result in my guild's Brawls, I managed to contribute with 4 victories, which is not the best of my contributions but it is enough to make me satisfied since it is better than having a number of victories lower than the number of defeats.
My guild is The Anti Social Club and this name perfectly matches the type of person I am, so I am in the right guild. The Anti Social Club guild fights in Tier 4 Brawls so they are very competitive Brawls and for this reason having 4 victories is not a bad thing and in this Brawl we managed to get the fourth position in the leaderboard.
My earnings in this Brawl were 76 SPS and 6,624 merits. It wasn't a bad gain, but it's still a little below the gains I used to get, which was an average of 90 SPS, probably because recently the Frays haven't been filled, so this leaves our guild at a disadvantage, but since we're still in the holiday season, it's normal for some players to be absent, and I believe the results will be better soon.
Currently, I'm opening several Loot Chests per season, as I've already shown in other posts, and this means that I earn a large amount of merits that help me when buying Gladius Cases, and with my merit gains in this Brawl, plus the merits I manage to accumulate, I'll be able to buy 15 Gladius Cases.
After buying the Gladius Cases, I just need to open them, but first I'm going to buy 75 Blood Stones because I want to increase my chances of getting legendary cards.
Each Blood Stone costs 55 merits, so buying 75 of them will cost me 4,125 merits.
Now I have everything ready to open my Gladius Cases. Remember that the reason I bought 75 Blood Stones is because each card consumes 1 and since each Gladius Case gives 5 cards, then 15 Gladius Cases will give a total of 75 cards.
It seems that my luck is good this season, unlike the last one when I was only unlucky opening Gladius Cases and Loot Chests. This time I got several epic cards and also got 2 legendary cards, so the decision to use Blood Stones was not a bad one and these 2 legendary cards are some of the strongest in the Gladiator edition, so I can consider myself lucky.
With the frequency that I'm opening Gladius Cases, I believe that soon I will be able to get all my Gladiator cards to the silver level. Most of them are already at that level, but there are still a few left to reach that level, so depending on my luck, by the end of the month I think I can get them all to the silver level.
