Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Guilds (ENG/ITA)

Hello to all Splinterlands friends!!!

When I started playing Splinterlands, the Brawls didn’t exist yet, that is, the challenges between Guilds, which are real teams formed by players who compete against each other in duels between the members of the teams.

At first, I missed the opportunity to participate in these challenges, but I read very interesting posts from other players who talked about the Brawls and the fantastic Gladiator cards they were able to buy with Merits, the tokens earned by each player after the end of each Brawls based on their team's placement in the tournament.

To be part of a Guild, you must be invited by an existing one, or you can start your own new team if you are confident in finding enough players who can play regularly: in fact, being part of a Guild also means having responsibilities, as if you don't participate in the current Brawl, your team loses valuable points, which is a big disadvantage for all the members of the Guild.

Before the start of a Brawl, there is a Prep Stage, where you or your team leader will choose which Fray to participate in: each Fray has limitations on the level, editions, and types of cards that can be used, so you must choose the best one based on your card collection.

For example, if you don't have cards from the first three editions, it's better not to join a Fray where only Alpha, Beta, and Untamed monsters can be used.

Then the Combat Stage begins, where you need to choose your formations according to the ruleset and the limitations imposed on the arena: in fact, each challenge is either home or away, and the Guild playing at home can set some limitations on the cards you can use, one classic limitation is on the Quora Towershead card, which many teams ban in their arena.

Once the Combat Stage ends, the ranking will be drawn up, and your team will earn Merits, which will be distributed among all members.

At this point, you can go to the Store, and, if you have enough merits, buy a Gladius Case, where you can find 5 Gladiator cards, incredibly strong monsters that can usually only be used in Brawls, but with special summoners with the Conscript ability (like Lobb Lowland), you can also use them in your normal Ranked tournaments, both in Modern and Wild format.

My final advice is to find a team to join as soon as possible, check if a guild already exists in one of the Hive communities where you write, and ask the team leader if you can join, always keeping in mind that you have obligations, and if you can't participate in a Brawl, it's better to notify the others.

Quando ho iniziato a giocare a Splinterlands, non esistevano ancora le Brawls , cioè le sfide tra Guilds, vere e proprie squadre formate dai giocatori , che si sfidano tra loro in duelli tra i componenti delle formazioni.

All'inizio mi sono fatto sfuggire di mano l'opportunità di partecipare a queste sfide, però leggevo i post ,molto interessanti, di altri giocatori che parlavano delle Brawls, ed anche delle fantastiche carte Gladiator che riuscivano a comprare con i Merits, i token conquistati da ciascuno giocatore dopo la fine di ogni Brawls in base al piazzamento della propria squadra nel torneo.

Per far parte di una Guild dovete essere invitati da una già esistente, oppure potete fondare la vostra nuova squadra, se avete la sicurezza di trovare un numero sufficienti di giocatori che possono giocare regolarmente: infatti, far parte di una Guild vuol dire avere anche delle responsabilità, in quanto se non si partecipa alla Brawl del momento, la propria squadra perde punti preziosi, e questo è un grosso danno a tutti i componenti della Guild.

Prima dell'inizio di una Brawl, c'è una Prep Stage, in cui voi, oppure il vostro caposquadra, sceglierete in quale Fray partecipare: ogni Fray ha delle limitazioni su il livello ,le edizioni e il tipo di carte che si possono usare, quindi dovete scegliere quelle migliore in base alla vostra collezione di carte.

Per esempio, se non avete carte delle prime 3 edizioni, è meglio non partecipare alla Fray in cui si possono usare solo mostri Alpha, Beta e Untamed.

Poi inizia la Combat Stage, in cui bisogna scegliere le proprie formazioni a seconda dei ruleset e delle limitazioni imposte sull'arena: infatti, ogni sfida viene giocata o in casa o in trasferta, e la Guild che gioca in casa può decidere alcune limitazioni sulle carte che potete usare, una delle classiche limitazioni è sulla carta Quora Towershead, che molte squadre vietano nella propria arena.

Dopo che è terminata la Combat Stage, verrà stilata la classifica, e il vostro team otterrà dei Merits, che verranno distribuiti tra tutti i membri.

A questo punto, potete andare nello Store, e , se avete abbastanza merits, comprare una Gladius Case, dove potete trovare 5 carte Gladiator, mostri fortissimi che di solito si possono usare solo nelle Brawls, ma con evocatori speciali con l'abilità Conscript (per esempio Lobb Lowland) , potete usare anche nei vostri normali tornei Ranked, sia nel formato Modern che Wild.

Il mio consiglio finale è di trovare il prima possibile una squadra a cui unirvi, guardate se in una delle comunità di Hive in cui scrivete esiste già una guild e chiedete al caposquadra di poter entrare, tenendo sempre presente che avete degli obblighi, e se non potete partecipare ad una Brawl sarebbe meglio avvertire gli altri.
