Splinterlands: Best Card Game for the PlayToEarn Blockchain Game Awards 2025
Here’s some good news: Splinterlands has just won the title of Best Card Game at the PlayToEarn Blockchain Game Awards 2025, one of the most well-known events in the Web 3.0 gaming sector.
The official announcement dates back about a day (a little less at the time of writing this post, a little more when I'll publish it) and shows Splinterlands among the winners; last year it had managed to achieve “only” second place — already a very positive result… but taking first place is a whole different story!
Winning first place will in fact give the game much more visibility and will likely bring in new players and, with a bit of luck, new investments as well.
Splinterlands’ success could also benefit Hive, which — thanks to funds granted through the DHF — has its logo clearly displayed on the official Splinterlands website (even if at the bottom of the page).
This therefore represents a double win, one that I hope can generate positive effects across the entire Splinterlands and Hive ecosystem.

Winning an event like this shows how important it is to try to support the games and platforms we like the most.
Every single vote in these events matters and can make the difference between first and second place.
For this reason, every time I see initiatives like this — even if it takes a bit of effort — I always try to offer my support.
On Hive this is made even easier by users like @libertycrypto27, who often publish not only announcements (useful to learn about these votes), but also guides, complete with links, that show step by step how to vote.
Sharing news, information, and tutorials is incredibly easy on Hive, because we can do it by leveraging one of the features that makes Hive unique: other chains have to rely on third-party tools, while on Hive, with our wallet, we have direct access to the chain where we can write whatever we want and share it with other users.
I believe the potential of such a possibility can be seen precisely in an event like Splinterlands’ victory at the PlayToEarn Blockchain Game Awards 2025, where the spread of the news on Hive certainly brought it to the attention of many users and players, who were then able to easily support their favorite game.
I’ve already witnessed the positive effects of similar initiatives in the past, but this might be the first time the result achieved has been this high!

Splinterlands: Miglior Gioco di Carte per il PlayToEarn Blockchain Game Awards 2025
Ecco una bella notizia: Splinterlands si è appena aggiudicato il titolo di Miglior Gioco di Carte nel PlayToEarn Blockchain Game Awards 2025, uno degli eventi più noti nel settore gaming del web 3.0.
L'annuncio ufficiale è di circa un giorno fa (poco meno nel momento in cui sto scrivendo questo post, poco di più quando lo pubblicherò) e mostra, tra i vincitori, Splinterlands, che lo scorso anno era riuscito ad ottenere "solo" il secondo posto, un risultato comunque molto positivo... ma arrivare primi è tutta un'altra cosa!
Il primo posto darà infatti molto più visibilità al gioco e, probabilmente, porterà nuovi giocatori e, con un po' di fortuna, anche nuovi investimenti.
Il successo di Splinterlands potrebbe fare bene anche ad Hive che, grazie ai fondi concessi tramite il DHF, ha il proprio logo in bella mostra sul sito ufficiale di Splinterlands (per quanto in fondo alla pagina).
Si tratta quindi di una doppia vittoria che spero possa produrre effetti positivi un po' su tutto l'ecosistema di Splinterlands ed Hive.

La vittoria di un simile evento dimostra l'importanza di cercare di supportare i giochi e le piattaforme che più ci piacciono.
Ogni singolo vota in questi eventi e può fare la differenza tra un primo o un secondo posto.
Per questo ogni volta che vedo simile iniziative - anche se mi fa un po' fatica - cerco sempre di fornire il mio supporto.
Su Hive ciò è poi reso più facile da utenti come @libertycrypto27, che spesso pubblicano non solo annunci (utili per venire a conoscenza di queste votazioni), ma anche guide, complete di links, che mostrano passo passo come votare.
Condividere news, informazioni e tutorial è infatti facilissimo su Hive, dato che possiamo farlo sfruttando proprio una delle funzioni che rendono unica Hive: le altre chains devono rivolgersi a strumenti terzi, mentre noi su Hive, con il nostro wallet, abbiamo accesso diretto alla chain dove possiamo scrivere quel che vogliamo e condividerlo con gli altri utenti.
Credo che il potenziale di una simile possibilità possa ravvisarsi proprio in un evento come la vittoria di Splinterlands ai PlayToEarn Blockchain Game Awards 2025, dove sicuramente la diffusione della notizia su Hive ha portato la stessa a conoscenza di tanti utenti e giocatori che hanno così potuto facilmente supportare il loro gioco preferito.
Già altre volte avevo assistito agli effetti positivi di iniziative simili, ma questa forse è la prima volta in cui il risultato raggiunto è stato così alto!
Non so in concreto quanto la visibilità offerta da questa vittoria sarà grande - anche se il post su X è già stato visualizzato 25.000 volte, che non sono poche - ma sicuramente ottenere il primo post è il massimo del risultato a cui Splinterlands poteva ambire, per cui averlo raggiunto è già di per sè un successo che dovrebbe invogliarci a cercare di ripeterlo di nuovo, magari anche per altri progetti ed applicazioni legati al mondo di Hive!

Sinceramente non sapevo si votasse ma non so neanche chi sono gli altri concorrenti 🤣 bisogna vedere quanto seguito e importante è
Credo sia seguito per gli standards dei giochi Play2Earn... quindi non più di tanto, purtroppo 😅 però quantomeno è seguito dal tipo di utenza che dovrebbe essere interessata a Splinterlands, per cui già questo è positivo.
