I like the washed out one with the pretty sky! I've saved it to my collection of inspirational pictures for my knitting designs.
I agree about the faff. I'm keeping an old camera because it was so expensive and I feel I should do something with it. I'm not sure the camera itself is any good, I think it was handled roughly one time. But there is a zoom lens with it that might be useful to someone ....
Aww thank you. This camera was actually a gift from my cousin's lad who is a mad keen photographer. He'd seen some of my photos on Thailand and thought I might like to have an old, but 'proper' camera to improve and take better photos with so I couldn't really say no. I've made an effort so next visit to the UK, I'll give him it back and say thanks, but it's not for me!
The washed-out photo so reminded me of my dads pictures of the beach at Weston Super Mare when I was a kid. Its strange what triggers distant memories! For reference its Nathorn beach, Koh Samui, Thailand.
Hope the new year has started on a high note for you and thank you, Shani. Glad you're still here after all this time :-)
