Bloody sun and its antics! I used to use an ND filter on my old DSLR when I still used it. To be honest the idea of going back to using it and fannying around with laptops and photoshop and all manner of getting it from one device to the other fills me with fear now so I am not surprised you will be retiring your old SLR bastart! That washed out one really does look like a 70's pic!

Absolute hassle unless it's a serious hobby. I just like the photos because they look pretty and they're a memory hence the phone will be just fine! Synchronisation across devices via cloud storage is one of the best advances in technology in the past years in my book!
That's why I'm a phone fan these days. You can get some amazing pics versus effort and sync all over the shot. The future isn't always shite! 😃😃
